Agreed. I've been a fan of Jayden and thought he was still ahead of Blayke (if only for the next 6 months), but he offered nothing yesterday.

Definitely our number 9, Jayden try’s his heart out and makes a thousand tackles but he’s got zero on his brother.

Would be interesting to swap them and see how Jayden goes coming in fresh against a tired pack.

They seem to spark when he comes on, or at least have some spark. Also the play seems to straighten up more so with him out there.

I'm still of the belief that Blayke is the more talented Brailey and has the bigger upside. He gets in position fast and makes very few errors. Blayke is the future and previous poster is correct that he seems to provide a spark when he comes on the field. He just needs to get a bit bigger in the offseason.

Mate I think everyone is of that belief. Jayden is a good defender but that’s it. Other than that he offers next to nothing

Yep won’t find anyone to argue with that.

Props to Jayden though, punched out some good D there - 50 tackles, 1 ineffective 1 miss and a lot of tackles on big JT13. Look forward to Blayke using his good technique to pump out numbers like that next year

Yeah still a bit concerned about whether he could hand a workload like Jayden regularly this season but look forward to him combining that technique with a few more kilos, could do some serious damage next year in D

So what are we doing next year as far as 9 is concerned?

I know Blayke will start the season there but there's no way he can play 80 minutes every week for the entire season.

There were obviously rumours about Lichaa returning but that seems to have gone quiet for now.

This is a massive hole as things currently stand.

Assuming Capewell goes, Magoulias provides 9 cover on the bench? And Nikora our back up back?
