Val first then Barba.

Signing Barba mid negotiations throws the f/b position towards Barba when Im sure its included in Vals negotiations. We have come out and said Barba is to expensive especially with Val already our custodian. So maybe with some price reduction Barba becomes more appealling. My guess is we will sign both. Val's signature first and then Barba's. F/B is shared between them.

Maybe theres a left field option too:

1. Val

Not sure about Barba in the 7. I don’t think that would work.
2 fullbacks playing 6 & 7 with Jnr waiting in the wings won’t happen.

Not sure Barba has the consistency or the structure in his game to play NRL halfback. No doubt got the attacking ability but wouldn’t rely on him to stay focussed for a whole game leading the team round the park.

#u*k I wish chad was better. Would make life so much simpler.

Barba to 7? Yeah no

Arguably the best fullback in the game and you want him at 7
