Attitude at home is disgraceful, I don't know what else to say.
It's like going through the motions at training. They seem to think it's just going to pan out at home.

I think Canberra a couple years ago started going to a hotel night before at home even..gets all the players switched on and set.. not worst idea..

There were too many times where we were in the attacking zone and the middle of our field looked completely vacant. No forwards to run decoy lines etc. Halves would get the ball and just see a 20m gap to the centre. What the **** is that ****?

Need to do something Vic. We have traveled well so far with good wins down south in particular, then continue to produce this garbage at home.

Complacency is rife in this team, win a premiership and they think they're above these sort of games. I said this a few weeks ago but it rings true again. WE WILL NOT win the premiership if we cannot treat games like the Gold Coast and Newcastle with the same level of intensity as games against Melbourne and Canberra. Don't tell me it can't be done, yes it ****ing can. Sure, some games won't be as physical as others, but there is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE for not having the same level of ruthlessness week in and week out. We did last season and we went on our greatest ever winning streak into our first premiership. Every game is worth the same amount of competition points and these guys don't seem to realise it.

Next weeks game against the Tigers will be very telling, we need to dust those guys, have they learned their lesson? I thought they might of learned after the Knights game, but clearly they haven't.

Bakuya got my 3 - 2 and 1

He looked good on that edge. Didn't lose much at all with Lewis out. I think we need to factor that in when looking at the future. We don't need to replace Lewis, we need to promote Bukuya then recruit the next Bukuya to take his bench spot.

Exactly right as 2010 was saying we went side to side without mixing it up. I would love to see more of Val come swiping in and throw some variation. I think it has so much to do with attitude. They think one of the other boys will do something here and go into cruise mode.

Was my understanding too. Titans player came within 10m of the play and actively got in the way of Sharks player too. Therefore no try.

Sorry - I should have been clearer. What I mean is that I think in the NRL that is a try now because they changed the interpretation regarding kick chasers being offside. I don't agree with the rule but the bunker made l the correct call under the NRL rules. If you saw that in a test match, ESL match or in the local u13's it is a penalty every time, but the NRL has its own rules which have many variations to the International RL rules.

funny thing is we won a comp with the second most errors and penalties conceded haha

But agreed this is just garbage. Even with all that **** in our game we had enough ball and put enough pressure on them in the second half and didn't get one try.

All that ball down that end and our attack reminded me of our robbo days. Just shifted it side to side

I could be wrong but I seem to remember mention of the Roosters being the most penalised team during the period that Maloney was there as well

Yeah totally. The halves were **** in other ways but once they got the ball in attack they didn't have many options most of the time.

Couldn't put that on him, they are a disgusting team that deserves every penalty against them.

Wasn't putting it on him, was just giving air to a synaptic pathway connection, as random as that may have been. If I remember correctly the high penalty rates were put down to the Roosters being prepared to give a penalty when defending their line in order to reset.

yeah I don't mind those ones Maloney gives away it's the ones on their 40 on the 4th that are the killer

That really was like watching the sharks of old. March downfield then not have a clue inside the 20.

No signs of fixing up the stupid errors either.

The refs definitely have their marked men. But he should know this and just move off the opposition/ball because they want to pin him

perfect example of this is the other week when he was standing up over the guy on the ground pretending to be tangled up on him preventing him from getting up to play the ball. Was always going to be a penalty and it rightfully was.
