About 80 percent of 'experts' tipped the Cubs in a short series. Hoping the Indians pull off for that alone. Although the Cubs winning it would be awesome too.

The Cubs have dominated the regular season (103-58 is ****ING insane) hence the harsh predictions against the Tribe, but it's not like the Indians scraped in (94-67), they won their division by 8 games. I'm with you, I don't care who wins. I am hoping for a 7 game epic though.

Fair enough mate, not doubting you. Just thought maybe something like 75% would be seen as top notch. I guess they do play a shed load of games.

Yeah baseball is a funny game when it comes to this. Very rare a team goes over 65%-70% or under 30%-35%. It seems playing every day is a big equaliser. So its generally accepted a 100 win season is an excellent achievement and a 100 loss season is a unmitigated disaster, which usually results in a massive rebuild.

Better by the Cubbies today, they got to Bauer early and forced him off a lot earlier then Cleveland needed him to. Good bounce back by the Cubs hitters after being shut out by Kluber in game 1.

The fact that pitching by in large is my most dominant part of baseball it makes sense when you break it down.

Top teams have 2 or 3 aces in a 5 man starting rotation. So out of 5 games you'll have your ace pitchers on the mound for 2 maybe 3 of them depending on how much rest they need.

Yeah that too. Sometimes a rotation falls out of order as well, with injuries and uneven schedules, sometimes you might have your number 1 pitcher taking on a number 5 pitcher.

Cubbies really need to lift. They were well beaten. They looked really poor. They got one more chance.....
