I'm 100% in for Pangai. Guy is on $650k now. Given all these dramas he likely has to take a pay cut. Get him on $5-600k and he is value even if he misses 6 weeks for the year. Get him on the right track and he will be a bargain.

Knowing all the dramas fifita went through off field etc, I'd still sign him all over again. This is almost exactly that opportunity IMO.

I don't think TPJ is taking a paycut. He'll get offered more by the Warriors/Dogs etc imo.

Tamou I feel can only decline. Unless he is on 3-400k I'd rather us look elsewhere.

Nicholas Hynes on a 1-2 year deal for a good old fashion pre season fullback off. Sign me up.

Fantasy if you think Tamou will cost less than that. So don't think you're being realistic.

500-600k for him on a two year deal I'll be pretty happy with that. He'll offer a lot of good leadership and experience our pack desperately needs. Especially if Fifita is going.

Nico Hynes killed his game at fullback but that was against the dogs.. both Hughes players from the storm are gun too

Based on their time in Q Cup I would take Hynes over Papenhuyzen easily. He can also play anywhere 1-7 and is a much better 6/7 than both Tracey and Trindall.

As much as it is frustrating for the Storm to have so many good players, I love seeing guys like this succeed. Hynes, Rudolf, Capewell, Walters, Uele, Fogerty, etc.. I love seeing players succeed after they are told at 20 that they are not good enough.

For Hynes, he was recruited by a Cowboys feeder team after NYC, but never got a Cowboys contract. He lived in Mackay for two years playing in a bad team. By the end of year two he was one of the best players on his team and The Storm noticed. 6 Months later he was the best player in the comp.

Yeah no chance it would happen. I'd just personally be disappointed to spend 5-600 on him. He has had a bit of a history of putting in in a contract year too.

Maybe, he will probably want overs to go to those clubs though and it would be a huge risk to take him on overs.

No thanks. He has shown nothing to suggest he could make that transition effectively. He is fast, that's it. He's 100% doing this to bump up his price.
