Anyone know what's happened with Jangala Bennet?

Move on, nothing to see here. Got some bad luck with some injuries but even when he was fit he didn't seem in the mix. Often had to kick him out of my seat last year as he was watching the Flegg games with the squad.

WAY too small. I usually don't right players off due to their size but I've got not much confidence he's going to be anything.

I think in regards to fullback I'm confident that Taukamo kid is in the long term plans with that 5 year deal they signed him too. He's young, can't play till 2023 but they'll likely keep his development path clear.

really? you put a shoulder charge over racism? says all i need to know about you

I think Sparkles is thinking in regards to how often he'll be on the field due to suspension. He's got quite the rap sheet.

I do agree similar to Gal and many others he'll mature and calm down a bit.

The key with TPJ is Bomber can just keep quite as much as possible and let other coaches say they wouldn't take him.
Hope it drags down his price a bit but at the same time hopefully makes him realise he needs to have a look at correcting some of his behaviours a bit, like Gal did

Did anyone else catch Gallen's post game interview comments where he laughed at Toby and called him 'horse teeth'? Toby shrugged it off and said something like 'yeah Gal, you say that every time..' Maybe SBW will knock whatever screw is loose back into place.

That kind of rings a bell but I obviously didn't think too much of it. They would know each other fairly well given both at club all of 2019 even if Toby was rehab for a lot and then Gal was still around the club this pre-season.

For the most part Gal in the media has surprised a lot of people for actually being a good contributor when they expected to just keep hating him.

Difference is TPJ misses a ****load of games and hangs out with bikies, not an great combo imo.

I hope for his sake he turns himself around. Definitely not worth big coin at this stage.

Well the hope for whoever picks him up will be that he realises that not hanging out with bikies and toning down the dog shots will get him more NRL and more money in the long term.

Fifi got warned for consorting at one stage right? I remember Norman and Seg and maybe someone else all did as well

I can't remember Fifi getting warned but the other two definitely did and they haven't really amounted much. Especially Norman, massive waste of talent.

I'm not against getting TPJ but I wouldn't be paying big coin like I'm sure some clubs will offer him.

Pretty sure Anthony Watts was or is a bikie. Remember seeing him on the Gold Coasts version of Cops getting raided and having a bunch of gear on him.

Yeah he went right into that scene after NRL and full into the roids too and then had that garbage effort to box Gal where his body just fell apart almost instantly.
He also bit a dick

if fifita retires we should be looking at tamou - that guy is solid as a rock and would be a great person to have around uele/hunt/frudolph in terms of discipline on and off the field

that would also trickle down to the younger props as well, and would give us another voice on the field

if their is any money at all, we should be in the tpj ring, **** his judiciary record and discipline, this club imortalised gallen and he was a racist, stitch pulling grub

finally, sign nicho hymes at all costs

Tamou for no more then 600k would be alright.

Nico Hynes killed his game at fullback but that was against the dogs.. both Hughes players from the storm are gun too

I'm 100% in for Pangai. Guy is on $650k now. Given all these dramas he likely has to take a pay cut. Get him on $5-600k and he is value even if he misses 6 weeks for the year. Get him on the right track and he will be a bargain.

2 year deal, performance clauses.

Knowing all the dramas fifita went through off field etc, I'd still sign him all over again. This is almost exactly that opportunity IMO.

Tamou I feel can only decline. Unless he is on 3-400k I'd rather us look elsewhere.

Nicholas Hynes on a 1-2 year deal for a good old fashion pre season fullback off. Sign me up.

I reckon he was doing his best to get sacked. More often than not these ****ers expect a payrise in this scenario.
