Thats a gr8 team, the only change i would make would be Kurt Sorenson to start and Gals to come off the bench. Just on Kurt, i remember a quote in Rugby league week in the early 80s by Jack Gibson,

"You have to send 2 men in to tackle him,.... one for each leg!"

It was in reference to how big this guys legs were, he was a monster.
Its interesting to note that at that time gang tackles wernt really the norm and each "hard man" was meant to be able to bring down his opposite. Imagine facing this guy as a rookie, one on one! lolololo.

Both Dane and Kurt were both terrific players and yes Kurt was a unit alright. Those were the days!!!

Understand what your saying Bort but Sorensen could hardly play for Australia if a New Zealander. If the suggestion is you have to have played for Australia to be considered in a Sharks team of the century why consider Bishop? IMO I would have Sorensen before Bailey but that's just my opinion. I am sure others have varying views

but i still disagree with you, plenty of new zealanders play for australia, but thats more these days
having never seen the sorensens play no comment as to wether they are better than bailey
