This is an ongoing discussion with Brailey. In short, his defence wasn’t up to scratch this year and needs to improve - but the whinging about his attack is complete nonsense imo. I could easily find a dozen examples of where Brailey made a smart play in attack but his teammates didn’t get on board.

Kicking game was also coming along under Bomber (e.g. 40-20 v Cowboys) but Hannay shelved it.
I agree but instead of just stopping in those circumstances he should just keep going.

Rubbish. His defence is actually good and he has a great pass but his attack is rubbish, particularly his running game which is non existent. He rarely runs and when he does he doesn't run with any purpose or conviction at all. The guy is actually super quick.

I actually like his Defence also, Gusty. Got dragged sometimes but so be it for the position. Several others in there, round the middle should've taken a leaf out of his book.

Needs to get his misses and ineffective tackles down a little. The stat ineffective tackles is one thing but also there were quite a few times where I thought he needed more help than he ideally should have to complete a tackle. Got away with this a bit as many would rather point the finger at Woods as the problem in the middle (he did have his own issues in there). Best example was Brailey literally dragged Woods off the tackler and everyone on here blaming Woods for it. Some also complained Woods never made first contact but NRL players are smart enough to run at 80kg every time instead of 105kg. Gutsy in defence and has some good technique but we lacked a top notch defender and he is very light so he got overworked in this area.

In attack I agree with Burgess, Blayke is trying to get out, draw defenders and hit a runner and there is rarely anyone there with him to make the most of it. He could just stick the headdown and try barrel through but he is so light he probably just ends up getting dominated in the tackle most of the time leading to a slow ptb. Happy for him to play the attacking style he is but needs runners with him which I think Hynes (great support), McInnes (hard worker and knows the hooker role) and hopefully Kennedy will all do better job of.

So it looks like our unvaccinated player will be allowed to play in NSW but not in Qld or Vic?
