Just under a week away now.

Australia has had two friendlies, one great and last night against Hungary not so good despite the win.

I can’t see us getting past the group stage in this one.

I just hope we can score some goals.

Annoying Socceroos first game coincides with Sharks v Brisbane. I'll probably record Cronulla game and watch it after the soccer.

Very rare to get us in a world cup match at such a great time.

Definitely will cheer on the Aussies over anyone, but I've always had a soft spot for the French/Dutch. Shame that the latter wont be there

Fair enough mate. I don't know a lot about soccer (some would say that applies to League as well) but I love the World Cup.

I know we're up against it but I've put some money on us to draw against the Frogs. $6 isn't too bad and I know they tend to start big tournaments slowly.

I still think we'll lose though.

I'm probably the same in that I'm not that into soccer, but I love the World Cup.

I don't have a Premier League team and have zero interest in the A-League.

I'm heading to Europe in 2 weeks and cant wait to enjoy the Cup in prime time.

I was in Europe for the 2014 Cup and 2016 Euros.

This time I'm going to Dubai, London, Crete, Kiev and Dublin.

The beauty is it doesn't matter where you go, the World Cup is on everywhere (and on at decent hour.)

Places like London seem like who ever is playing, that nationally will be out that night.

Its also a great experience to watch the Aussies in action on the other side of the world.

Obviously going to World Cup is a bucket list item, but I can say from experience, if you love the World Cup then you definitely need to watch it from Europe once in your life time.

It's weird, every couple of ads they have a commerical for Coke or Budweiser promoting the World Cup, but zero commerical saying where to actually watch it?

SBS showing "Match of the Day" each day, all Socceroos Socceroos, semis and final as far as I can see.

Pretty ****. You'd think FTA would get every game for the bloody world cup.
