Please just play footy.

Assuming CH7 aren't like CH9 and kick off at the scheduled time I'll tune in at 8:05pm. I might miss 5mins of the game, but I'll be assured to miss So You Think You Can Dance: Rugby League.

You should tune in earlier, Mal's team might make you a better person.

I’m pretty sure channel 7 have got Dan Guinaine calling the games for them. I rate him, does a pretty decent job with Triple M, which includes working with a handicap of having a moron like Wendell Sailor with you. Will be interesting to see how he does in a televised environment.

Working with Wendell on radio wouldn't be all bad. If you felt like having a bludge just ask Dell how he's going and that **** will jaw on about himself for at least 40 minutes.

I don't rate him.

He yells and isn't articulate.

He'd make a decent contributor to the other forum. That is all. He wouldn't even make it here.

I disagree. He’s no good because he yells? EVERY Rugby League commentator yells, it’s kinda what they do. Especially on the radio when they need to emphasise the exciting parts a bit more.

I think your being a bit harsh.

On another note, anyone find it a bit odd that Nu Brown has missed out on a halves spot in the Samoan team to Ben Roberts and former Captain America himself, Joseph Paulo?

I don't like the way he uses his vocals. Some raise their voice but he sounds like he's being murdered in Belanglo

That's setting the bar pretty low.

The quality of the A League and NBL is a debate for another day.

But what else is on at this time year?

No free to air network is interested in those leagues.

Yet a Rugby League World Cup, which is basically an afterthought compared to the NRL, has been picked by a free to air network.

So, clearly, it is worth more then you're giving it credit for.

My response was to Deano saying they're worth a decent chunk. I doubt they paid a lot for them.
