I'm not saying Will is perfect - just IMO he is our best fullback at this stage.

Most of those tries last night - I blame twelve other players in the front line before Will.
I agree other players missed tackles to begin with, but the fullback needs to actually be there if there is a break and attempt to stop trys.

I watch him and see him jogging in the middle of the field when the ball is out wide and a like break is made.

Either way, having legitimate competition for the spot in the off-season can only be a good thing.

Absolute turnstyle 1 on 1
Even Charlie Staines would have made more of an effort there

Dykes will potentially become our best fullback it he can defend better. Dykes is similar I'm attack to Kennedy. But Miller, is a good fullback but doesn't suit our structure well.

And people get mad when I say he’s up there with the worst last line of defence
Do they? This is pretty widely accepted. It's more that what he has offered in attack has outweighed it (excluding last night).
No we don't we score two or three less tries with miller
I'm not sure I agree with this. Miller definitely scores wills first try and maybe the second also. Outside of that Kennedy had a pretty poor game. I don't think Miller would be our long term fullback, but I think we win if he played last night.

Miller definitely scores that try, and contests the bomb for cowboys first try and attempts the tackle on dearden and I will even say was there to make an attempt on Hiku.

Personally I think Dykes is the long term fullback. I’d have him training for that spot in the off season. But could see Miller there too.

I mentioned this already but I’m not offering him a long term deal. One year max, maybe player option.

And I hope based on the pre season Fitz is open to either Miller or Dykes if they deserve it. Dykes seems to be a bit of both players- athletic and can ball play.

I believe fullback is the hardest position to return to after an injury layoff. You saw as the game progressed he got a little more confident and better with his timing. That run will do him and our team the world of good
Yeah you can’t ignore the 5 or 6 weeks he’s been out and to go straight into a final. No doubt will be better for the run

The problem with miller is we don't use our edges well in attack with him. I do think he is a good player. I just think Kennedy is still better.

Oh I completely agree when Kennedy is on. I don't think Miller is the answer long term. I just think with how poor Kennedy was last night Miller would have been enough to make the difference. That said though, it's only because it ended a tight game.
Who would you rather under a Cleary floating bomb? That's another thing to consider.
Kennedy hands down. He's still the best option for us, just can't offer another defensive effort like last night.

Have to go with Kennedy next week. No question about it.

But like others have said I'm happy for a classic Sharkies fullback off in the off season.

Kennedy's second try was all Kennedy. He put in a big effort to get into that position, hit the suicide line at full speed and was oozing passion after the try to pump up the team. There's no player we have that could have done any more when we really needed it.
I really like Miller and Iro, and have been critical of Kennedy, but in that big moment he really shone

The fullback position should be up for grabs next year.

I think if Miller player last night, we win that game.
I don’t think Miller can ball play and whenever he has you can tell it’s a struggle. Along with realistically Hynes doing everything and Moylan being a non factor in kicking we need an extra threat.

Dykes looks likely

Agree but Kennedy didn’t ball play last night
