Hearing reports that Snowman is in negotiations to make a comeback here to the forum , BUT up to 3 existing posters would have to be released and it's dependent upon clearance from the judiciary.
Stay tuned ;)
Where did that twit go anyway?

Who are the 5 you'd have ahead of Ponga?.
I didn't have a lot of thought about this before the post.

1. Edwards
2. Tedesco
3. Hammer
4. Turbo
5. Paps
6. Walsh
7. Ponga

( I feel like 3-6 place the order could change regularly depending on fitness and form, Tubro could easily be 3 but is injured a lot, same with paps)

If I could have any fullback in the comp on ability alone it's Ponga. If I could have any fullback on their current value it's Edwards, but I don't think anyone else would be able to sign him for less than 1m. In which case I'm back to wanting Ponga.

Based off form/ability I'd have:

1. Ponga
2. Edwards
3. Turbo
4. Teddy
5. Drinkwater
6. Hammer

Walsh and Mitchell are as good but had poor seasons.

9.Paps
10. Gutho after him.

Then the rest are fairly interchangeable based off how they are going at the time.

You think Ponga is the best fullback in the country? I can see he has potential...but there is a lot of games I don't think he turns up. Edwards consistency is very good.

Edwards is the most consistent, no doubt. But Ponga's ability is miles above. That said, I still think Ponga consistently effects games positively by creating freaky moments. He also does that whilst being pretty much the sole focus of the defensive line. Edwards has the benefit of playing in the best team in the comp with all the focus being on the 7.

I think if you put Ponga in any elite side you'd get a better outcome than putting any other fullback there.

But are there games where everyone at Knights plays well except Ponga?
They beat us a game nobody at Knights played well except Ponga - and he was throwing up the whole time (which is probably why we didn't want to tackle him)
He has a wider range of skills and is a better marketable personality too

I think there is a fair case if there was an NRL wide redraft he is taken before any other fullback

If you're taking injury out of it it's Turbo then daylight.

Turbo = Ponga's highlights + Edwards' consistency.
Yep I think if your could confidently rule out injury he'd be my number 1 pick
Too many and too similar recurrent injuries though - move to centre (with a lot of license) an interesting option going forward to protect him and shown in the recent Tests can still very much impact a game there
