Would be nice if both our 1 and 9 had that attitude. Nicho is honestly a godsend to this side.
I really like this by Nicho. Publicly challenging Will like that. Looking forward to seeing how responds (on the field)

Ive been very critical of Kennedy in the last 12 months, but these last few weeks he's making me eat my words.
The guy is everywhere in attack at the moment, playing in the line in attack + playing eyes up footy.
Only area he needs to work on is that 1:1 defence which hopefully is happening in training

the odd game he gets manhandled on kick returns by teams

but some runs tonight from kick return
unbelievable
outstanding!

other than that he is a valuable player at the back and attacking adds something

he has been popping up near the forwards, waiting for an off load.
plus a bit of a kick and chase, something peachey style.

though honestly he has been nailing that position Down, I do hope we offer him a two year deal

He's absolute class.

I'm not so happy with a couple of the low percentage bat ons that he's done this year.

I guess the one tonight you could argue that Mulitalo was running too flat anyway, but still not necessary early in the count.

First time I've really noticed him not only sniffing round for an offload, but also taking an occasional hit up through the middle.

He continued his great start to the year, but some uncharacteristic shaky moments under the high ball. Not sure why there was so much confusion/hesitation in that area last night - someone needs to make a clear call because even Moylan didn't know what was happening.

Moylan ****ed that up, no idea what he was doing there.

You got to wonder how we introduce Dykes into first grade. Maybe he is 5/8 or on the bench.
I don’t think we can afford to lose Kennedy at this stage especially if he keeps improving like he does. I really hope we lock him down soon before desperate clubs start asking around.

I hope Dykes could work at 5/8, a Kennedy, Dykes, Hynes spine sounds exciting. Odd man out is Trindall again unfortunately though

Agree but that happened after Kennedy, Ronaldo etc had let a few kicks bounce already. Seems like there was a lack of communication and/or ownership back there which is odd considering our back three are generally safe under the high ball.

healthy kennedy is elite

the only current fullbacks i take over him are trell, teddy, turbo and edwards - edwards is a stretch
This ^^^. I am not sure if Latrell would fit the culture in our team. Teddy and Turbo more likely.

No one can play with 100% or 0 errors. We'll have those mishaps during the game and that's a given.

As long as those errors do not happen in important games and crucial moments.

Really good to see him playing without inibition. Seems to have gotten over his uncertainty and is letting his insticts kick in, which are pretty bloody good. Mostly glad to see him around the middle so much. It's paying off big time.
