Not too fussed on it. They were a big part of his life. But now that games done he needs to have his focus purely on us til end of year

I saw some people actually have a problem with this. Those people need to grow up a bit. The game was over and a lot of those fellas were a big part of his life, it’s no different from when our guys chaired Heino off the field when he was in Newcastle colours.
Of all things to be ****ty and complain about from Friday, this was certainly not one of them.

Chambers was a real mixed bag performance wise - did some good things but had some terrible handling , no doubt still getting used to be back playing in NRL and finding his timing with new players ect
then again it's Cronulla tradition for newcomers to take 12 months before they can catch so he is obviously respecting the culture Dugan & Moylan established a few years back
has potential to be good for us though and should have a centre spot over wilton or tracey and maybe duges
he's bit older now as well and might be less of a ****head grub , does look strange in the light blue of sharks jersey

He is bizarre, every week he will make some amateur mistake and then immediately do something good to try make up for it
We need alot better though overall, he is struggling

If he's our starting centre next year we haven't recruited/developed properly. If he's depth and experience to help out the young guys that's fine.
If we end up signing a notable winger that might suggest there's a plan to put Ronnie at centre potentially. Just going off rumours of Fergo etc.

that's fine but he is making mistakes out there we don't need and shouldn't expect from an experienced and former gun centre - if he needs time to get it together after time out of the NRL fine, let him do that in reggies. BUT we don't have much depth to replace him with
Him and Duges must be one of the most liability prone center pairings at present

I doubt he was bought to play NRL though, doesn't help with Dugan being poo and Ramien and Ferris being injured.

I don’t know what people was expecting. He is what? 32-33? And has spend how many years playing the much much much easier Japanese Rugby or wherever? He was already well on the decline when he left Melbourne. He was never going to be a multi year option for our centres. He’s just here to fill a role, add a bit of experience and, hopefully, some depth to the centres. I actually thought he was going to end up playing for Newtown most of the year and jump in when we had an injury or something. I genuinely hope no one on here thought he’d be anything more then a squad filler for the season. One of those one year signing where if he goes ok, then great have another year, but if he doesn’t, no biggie.
