you hear raper saying we have problems scoring tries

look who was in our 2nd grade team for most of season while back

1 nathan merrit, who is now top of the try scoring list... i know hindsight is a good thing but i couldnt belive we let him go. he is a pintsocring machine

he didnt get much of a go in first grade and i cannot understand why at the sharks

I thought I was on my lonesome as a Nathan Merritt fan. Obviously not. He was considered by the Sharks to be a defensive liability and that is why he was not shown much interest when contract negotiations came around & Raper really was mind set that Alberts would be the answer to our problems.

Like Paul Mellor Souths just gave them an offer and the Sharks did not match it.

Player retention at the Sharkies has really got to be reviewed as the recent couple of years is not looking as good as it was in the past

he may let a few in but if he gets accross the line 16 times or so

i cant see any other of our backs break 10 i doint think

and mellor i rated him too.. he is good value playing on the wing, centre, back row

would of provided some much needed value this season.... remember his try against newcastle fending off quinn 3 times..

thats was a classic.. he might be a little slow to turn but he should of stayed at the sharks

we should get answers from our ceo why we have such poor player retention

Nathan Merritt should have never left?????????? you are bloody kidding right?

Ill tell you why Nathan Merritt was shown the door, midwa y through last season i cant remember who we were playing, the opposition made a line break down merritts side of the touchline, i can remember it clearly, Merritt who was a few metres behind the defensive line when the bust was made on the inside of him turned to chase the ball carrier ( pffft if you could call it a chase), Merritt just jogged after the ball carrier showing no effort, his lack of effort or even care was shown up by Danny Nutley, who being a short stocky fella isnt the fastest guy on the paddock, but sprinted past a jogging merritt and chased the ball carrier all the way to the try line preventing the ball carrier from improving the position, take note that whilst there was still 7 or 8 games left in the regular season at this time, Nathan Merritt never played first grade football for the sharks again, and so he shouldnt have and never should again. Heartless players have no place in the sharks team, bring back Nathan merritt what a joke, ..................Danny Nutley...................now we should never have let him go.

but caine was great we all said it and dragons offered more. only reason why we couldn't put him into the squad was due to that injury!

yeah caine will be a star.
he still needed to bulk up a bit though. thats why he struggled to make the top squad. watch him go at the dragons though. a big summer under Paul Mcgregor and he will be huge. no doubt starting hooker for the dragons next year.
did you guys see how big Mcgregor made besty?!?!? he was a weed for us and now he's a monster!
all the dragons backline are huge. Mary really knows his stuff.
i reckon beau scott will mature ok too.
he's got the skill and speed that we needed and hit the line with dead set malice but needed to smarten up a bit. i think he lost his head too often and tried to throw impossible (unnecessary) passes, thats all

My mate goes to the same physio as Caine and I also saw Caine up the fair a week or so ago, his leg has lost that much weight it looks half the size of the other, but the physio told my mate he will be lucky if he will ever be back to what it was. Obviously he will have the best physio and specialsts etc, but injuries like that can be hard and the mental challange a huge part of it.
