throw a wad at jake friend. that sharpens us up in our go forward straight away.

josh mansour - he can find the line

josh mcrone - good half/utility option

mat srama - if we cant get friend

promote brown and holmes. get gagan ready too.

gal to prop (i know i know). add grant. re-sign d fifita to play from the bench.

To land Mansour we want Simmons and Kev Naiquma to keep firing on the wings so Cleary is forced to keep Josh out of firsts. However other clubs will be interested in him so start talking to him now with him being guaranteed first crack on the wing.

Friend is a no hope, so get talking to Strama and have him and Brown as our rotation hookers.

I can't see us landing McCrone which means we have another year with Robbo (awwww yeah!)

Agree with Holms (if he feels ready) being promoted, which shifts Gordon to centre.

Re-sign D. Fifita to become an impact prop from the bench with Tagataese. Since A. Fifita is going and Gibbs is more than likely retiring I'd chase hard for Grant and McKendry to be our starting props.

We should also re-sign Graham (top priority), Arona, Brown and Gagan (for depth)
If all goes to plan, this could be our team for 2015:

1. Holms
2. Feki
3. Gordon
4. Leutele
5. Ryan
6. Carney
7. Robson
8. Grant
9. Strama
10. McKendry
11. Lewis
12. Graham
13. Gallen

14. D. Fifita
15. Tagataese
16. Brown
17. Arona/Sopoaga/Prior

Corey Thompson is a first grade winger - solid but nothing special no thanks.

First grade winger is the last thing he is. He's a first grade fullback first and foremost but he's definitely more of a centre than a winger. He's already better then the two we currently have.

I like it but I think Feki's future is in the centres.

Have we got a 60 min prop that would replace Kasiano? Tilse and Kasiano would be the last props that we need ,now the games getting faster.

My only issue with Tim Grant is that he seems to be a bit injury prone.
Seriously chad... we have todd carney, michael gordon and luke lewis. 3 of the most injury prone players in the nrl.
They can just regulate there injuries, like lewy isnt allowed to get injured when tim grant is.
Theyll just need to be careful about the timing of there injuries.
Maybe a roster... todd will be injured from weeks 1-3 so flash has to stay healthy for that period. Then we wont have any dramas.

Mate I know injuries are part and parcel of the game (your sarcasm didn't go over my head! :) )
It just seems to me he spends a bit more time on the sideline than others. I mentioned that when we bought Lewis as well but no one seemed to care.
I have no problems with him as a player. If we land him great, but just putting my thoughts out there.

Did you miss tilse game last night? looks like he adapted nicely
No l didn't miss him last night nor every game he has played at the Raiders. My mate is a Raiders supporter. Who did they play again? If he has adapted l guess they won't let him go.

Semi Radradra on one wing & Eto Nabuli on the other wing would be entertaining,Fergo for a centre position,Holmes to f/back,i just want to see more than 2 tries per game, & watch players that make you sit on the edge of you seat when they get the ball, watching the old footage of David Peachey & Matt Rogers just confirms whats missing in our side,
when they were around the ball you knew something special could happen.

so what part of his 18 runs or 22 tackles means he hasnt adapted to the game? if anything he looked the most likely of the raiders props to do anything yesterday

Us old blokes would add Sludge to that list. He was electrifying. When he got the ball the whole crowd would rise expecting him to do something and invariably he would.

Sludge could change a game with or without the ball. If we had of won in 78 he would be an immortal.
