The first step for us (should we make it out alive post asada) is to work internally first and get rid of some dead wood. This in it self will already show improvements. By dead wood im almost soley looking at Pomeroy. Our exact starting line up we see today would be improved upon by simply dropping pomeroy an bringing in either Leutele (injured i know) or Mills. Next is Degois/Morris, now Degois is contracted so this actually could act as a good transition for Liccha. Morris out, Liccha in. This already is unveiling a better side with more enterprise. No complete this with Peachy to the bench and the introduction also of someone like Sopoaga. Tupou is likely out, Bukuya is gone.

Now with such changes alone, IMO we have an improved side already and this is without any signings. The key now would be a halfback. Give me Hodkinson and Cornish, 2 realistic buys and a good price who can compete for a spot and really add and change our side. Robbo and Townsend out.

Then Kahu a young fantastic prospect at centre, i say we gofor him with the confidence that we want him to be a starting centre. Then a similar replacement for Ross.

Then the rest can go to a specialist centre or winger.

But all the above changes without our signing of a specialist centre or winger IMO will already make us a muchstronger and enterprising side.

I couldn't quite understand your post but are you saying no to Leutele in the centres? You're crazy if you don't want him there.

Leutele has plenty of pace, strength, footwork and skill.

Exactly what you want in a centre.

Deano I'd like Johnson an Feki to have at least 5 matches together to see if it will work

BENJI UNHAPPY AT WESTS TIGERS?
SPORTAL – MAY 15, 2013
POSTED IN: BENJI MARSHALL, NEWS, PARRAMATTA EELS, WESTS TIGERS

Unhappy according to sources
I keep hearing struggling superstar Benji Marshall is unhappy at the Wests Tigers and hasn’t gelled with new coach Mick Potter.

Marshall’s shock relegation to the bench for Friday night’s clash with Souths only adds to the talk of unrest. Sources suggest he would even consider switching clubs – but only if it’s a Sydney based team.

Trouble is, Benji is on $600,000-a-season at the club and not a lot of clubs would pay that sort of money considering his recent form.

Maybe Parramatta Eels coach Ricky Stuart will step in to solve his five-eighth issues at the club.

I'd give him 350k a season, and a locker next to Beau's

If Penrith wanted to pay 900k for Carney, they should have $600k for Bunji.

Or, he can just go and play for the homeland. He'd be a perfect fit and probably get a payrise...

Id offer 650k for Benji to come to the sharks. Even though he's been playing **** his form will be back soon I think. A good halfback is the missing link.

1. Gordon
2. Feki
3. J wright
4. Luetele
5. Ryan
6. Carney
7. Marshall

I have faith in luetele to become a good first grader.

A good halves combination can make any outside backs look brilliant.

Look at the storm with cronk and widdop. Great halves pairing with only decent backs (except slater)
O'neil isn't special, neither is chambers. Just good/capable players.

We have an awesome fullback too with Gordon. And got a couple of very capable backs in luetele, Ryan and J wright (I couldn't stand him but he's kind of growing on me now after watching him past few weeks, really starting to prove me wrong).

So in saying that I think we should be focusing more on signing a gun halfback to partner carney. Have attack on both sides of the field instead of just one.

(Long day at work, my wording is probably outer place a bit but u all no what in trying to say haha)

We all know the player he is, 18 months ago he was number one.

If we can find 750 k a year, he is definitely worth it.

Yep, this is not up for debate. He is a staring centre when fit.

So atm he, Gordon & Ryan should cement their FG spots.

Stay with me here - So if all were fit, Feki has the other wing... If Jono keeps form playing centre inside Feki... Look elsewhere for recruitment! Like Halfback.

Upto a max of around 750k for Benji,

And your right he would bring an extra attacking game, at the moment everyone knows the ball is going to Carney on the 4th/5th tackle, it's predictable!

He already has combinations with half our squad: Ryan, Fifita, Gibbs & Heighno

1.Gordon
6.Carney
7.Marshall
9.De Gois

Now that's a spine that would rival the best in the comp

Leutele is WAY better than j wright. Him Ryan and Gordon are the only players that should have their spots in our back 5 cemented.
