I do actually if he gets back to playing good footy I think he could help a fair bit. He can actually put bombs in the right place for tries to be scored from. He also has a pretty good ability to get repeat sets.

I'm not saying he's some great half but I think he would add more to our side than Robson and it doesn't look like we will see Chad in first grade. I wouldn't pay him much but if he came on the cheap he would be a decent signing.

Robbo already get us repeat sets when he decides it's actually a good idea. But he also has the ability to throw a dummy and occasionally get through the line. Above average defender as already mentioned.
As for bombs Carney is inconsistent, too short, too deep, not setting the world on fire but yea better than Robbo.

Don't see too much benefit replacing Robbo with a guy like Walsh. Not worth the hassle and risk. If he was younger, maybe...

Chad is in first grade this weekend and will reappear again I'm sure. Permanent spot, yea who knows...

Not a massive Chad fan, he goes ok imo, he gernerally has a good first up game when he gets the call up so I'm pre warning all you Chad haters, get ready for all of the Chad lovers to bombard the forum after the Parra game how good Chad is & how he should have been picked from Round 1 onwards.

With the somewhat limited first grade games we have seen from Chad this is an accurate assessment. He will do well just to have a good game first up IMO. Particularly playing at 5/8th and next to Robbo. I'm already gearing up for the Chad love on a side note.

I think it is his best case yet. Anasta is terrible, if I was miller I would be seriously thinking about going to work in the mines...

I was wondering if jerome ropati and Brett finch re-signed with their clubs yet? I'm instead in what everyone thinks on these two playing for us next yr.

I wouldnt mind Brett Finch as halfback and todd at 5/8. However the age of finch might be an issue.

Finch would be a better option than Robbo I will grant that, but not sure on age and he was playing ESL right? That would have soften him up a bit :D

Gone down the Barrett path before. Not saying Trent was useless just seemed like it was seeing his time out. Jordan Kahu is something special from the broncs. They are saying he could be a chance of playing FB for them next year. He would not look out of place in the halves

I have noticed that he has been very quiet over the last few months, but hey after 23336 post I understand how it might all feel worthless and mundane
But if he does not crawl out of his hole and have a go come SOO time then I will be seriously concerned about the big fella

I asked him 2 years ago when it looked like he was off to superleague whether he should come to us instead, he laughed politely and shook his head. I'd still take him for 12 months, reckon he's still up to it, will see come origin time.
