I was concerned when Lyall Gorman left that there would be a void. Most people didn't seem too worried hoping Gorman had set in place a professional structure that will see the organisation continue to thrive, but there are questions about that.

I'm hoping the club is about to make major announcements because today there's another departure that raises the question as to who is actually running the club.

Football Manager Phil Moss has joined the Titans, yet there has been no replacement named. Gorman has gone and no replacement is named. All we have is a former Tradies exec who has a history of a troubled relationship with the Sharks and left Tradies is mysterious circumstances.

The highly regarded Darren Mooney is long gone and we all know about Keogh.

So who is actually running the Cronulla football operation?

As much as we all love Flano we know what happened last time there was no management around him.

As Jack Gibson said, winning starts in the front office. Let's hope the club is about the make some major announcements.

Yes Tim McAleer from Tradies who we were told was the CEO of the Leagues Club only, not the Football club. Apparently he is a very good operator in the club industry despite his questionable dealings with the Sharks over the years.

Who is guiding the NRL club now, which is a multi million dollar operation? Just Flano?

Heard the place is now being run by a 1990's supercomputer. Flanno saw Deep Blue going cheap in an online auction and couldn't help himself.

What was his questionable dealings? Not wanting to amalgamate our broke ass club with his?

I don't know too much about him other that he has an exceptional record with building Tradies into a dominant club, which is great for our future.

The worry is previously he had little interest in the football side of our business, to the point one of the reasons the deal to merge the two clubs fell apart is he didn't want the Leagues club to provide funding to the football operation. If that is in his heart that could be of concern given that is actually the role of the Leagues club and why we need a strong football CEO to operate alongside him and fight for the interests of the NRL operation.

A word on the other forum Darren Mooney could be coming back. I've no idea if that's the case, but would be a good thing.

Y2K crippled it - so Queen of the Nile in the pokies room is doing the business. The ciggy machine is covering Keogh's absence until the new soft drink dispenser is installed

It would be I assumed as CEO of the Football Department, which is the step up he always wanted and why he went to the Knights. Let's see if it's the case.

A master of the Salary Cap balancing act.

When the guy was at the Tradies The leagues was his opposition. He was pretty ruthless to ensure the tradies stayed a powerhouse. I hope he continues this mindset with the leagues club.
