I would like to see the stats of how Covell scored the bulk of those tries. My assumption (and from memory) is that the bulk of them he scored from cross field bombs and not through Pomers hands. If you think back to how bad Pom's handling use to be it makes even more sense. So I am holding to my suggestion that Pomers can't set up his winger.

bingo.
most were off cross field kicks, however, poms hands were decent that year
