they're all good. the past ones are heritage. id like to see them play under the star logo once more just as a one off match. but thats unlikely

The current one. Its a modern compilation of the past logos. It has hints of the old circular design, as well as the old star design, and also brings something new. I like it and hope its kept for a long, long time to come.

The current one is pretty cool, has elements of the old circular logo (classic '80s one) which is still probably my fave. Does look outdated next to the new one though.
As for the early noughties one (the star one), that was absolutely atrocious. The Shark looked about as scary as something out of "Finding Nemo" It was a heresy that should have been burnt at birth! Now let's never talk of it again.

HAHA that comment reminded me of my old footy clubs logo.
The Pine River bears.
Bears a pretty vicious animal.
Well our logo was a bear in a forest holding a football with his thumb up and a a smile on his face. Possibly the worse logo in the history of sports.

Now theres an interesting topic, I heard something on the radio a few months back wher they were asking people to ring in with the worst sports team logos/mascots they knew of. There were some absolute shockers but I can't think of any right now. I do know that up around Newcastle, I think it's Hexham, they have a team called the Mosquitos, that's pretty ordinary!

Can anyone find some more shockers? I know there must be heaps out there.

Yeah, it's pretty bad but probably about the best thing you could come up with in regards to Maitland! I mean the Maitland Yokels doesn't sound too flash...

the best logo in all of sports is probably the atlanta falcons logo. however, the sutherland seahawks do it better by turning the falcons logo blue. looks pretty sweet

I nominate Nathan Hindmarsh's junior club, the Robertson Spuddies...imagine what the mascot looks like, probably some bloke pacing the sidelines with a giant potato on his head! :lmao

dont care too much about the logos because they're too small to see on the jerseys and they have all been good enough so far

Yeah, I played a few games for the Seahawks back in the early nineties, gridiron was just too expensive though.

ah so that's why you call yourself Ironshark (gridiron):lmao

Actually, not too far from the truth but it's more to do with the fact that I like lifting weights, you know "pumping iron"! (One of the all time great sports movies by the way!) Plus I like the idea of being a "rusted on" Sharks fan:D
