lol.

This here is the problem with the press and half you blokes. Because of the current 'duty of care' issues, you and Paul Kent and whoever else wants to find fault will find one.

i saw a player at ANZ go down with a knee injury a few weeks ago, he was carried off, Todd Carney snapped his achilies……..carried off, it happens every week more than once.
But i guess its another way of the sharks getting a bit of bad press isnt it, or another way of the blokes on here who know how to run a football club to say how theyd do it. You think the club doesnt have a stretcher?

He hurt his knee, not his neck. Peter Wallace did his ACL, walked off, came back on and played for a bit then surrendered to the injury, walked off again.
Pretty much, you could boil this whole post down to "She'll be right". Cronulla Sharks 101 right there.

****ing getting compared to Paul Kent is a pretty harsh though.

Its not about she'll be right

When josh hoffman hurt his leg did he get stretchered off? Wallace? gallen in round 1?

More players walk off, get assisted off, or get carried off for knee/leg injuries than they do on stretchers.

This was nit picking at its finest

remember fifita hobling to the sideline few weeks back and then refusing to step over the sideline to get our boys bit more of a breather lol

As for the stretcher, would have been nice to get that on my way back to my car and too and from the bar on the day. Busted ankle I feel like ****ing Carney atm!

All you have done is cherry-picked a few incidents in which a player has not been stretchered off. Next you'll be saying a real footballer doesn't need to be stretchered off.

The fact of the matter is we had a footballer injured on the ground, in such discomfort that being carried off caused him pain that was significant for all to see. Thus a stretcher should have been used, rather than being hastily carried off, yet it was not brought onto the ground. Matter closed.

I am sure with the minimum standard set by the NRL in order to host a game. Having a stretcher available would be part of the criteria.

Like many have said, most players try to get up to play on or walk off the field. It's something that gets inbuilt in you from a young age when playing RL.
