Whoaaaa!
This is what i'd expect if we had a medicab at shark park
Yeah, I don't think our club can be trusted with one of these.
I swear that thing is aiminig for those people, it's actually going after them!! IT'S ALIVE!

nope can't be true, it's the clubs faultAnd what about the possibility that Nu might of asked the trainers not to get the stretcher?
Sometimes players insist on trying to walk off the field.
Of course it's the club's fault, a bloke was injured at work at a ground which the club owns, and they didn't act appropriately to treat the injury. A stretcher was not even brought out, he did not have a choice to knock it back or not. The whole culture of this club needs to change, this "she'll be right" attitude sucks balls.nope can't be true, it's the clubs fault

terry campese walked off with an acl injury as well
dont excite me with such talkthe only person needed to be stretchered from the field is dj when wade walks past him
I am thinking that you and I are on the same wave length at the moment bud as you are hitting the nail on the head every time as of late.....keep up the good worklol.
This here is the problem with the press and half you blokes. Because of the current 'duty of care' issues, you and Paul Kent and whoever else wants to find fault will find one.
i saw a player at ANZ go down with a knee injury a few weeks ago, he was carried off, Todd Carney snapped his achilies……..carried off, it happens every week more than once.
But i guess its another way of the sharks getting a bit of bad press isnt it, or another way of the blokes on here who know how to run a football club to say how theyd do it. You think the club doesnt have a stretcher?
He hurt his knee, not his neck. Peter Wallace did his ACL, walked off, came back on and played for a bit then surrendered to the injury, walked off again.

Roosters fume at medical debacle after physio table collapses

ROOSTERS chief executive Steve Noyce has lodged a complaint with Cronulla and will complain to the NRL after a makeshift physio table collapsed when injured Rooster Kane Linnett was receiving treatment for a dislocated shoulder yesterday.
Roosters doctor John Orchard took the extraordinary step of seeking out members of the media just prior to the Cronulla press conference, following the Sharks' 18-4 win at Toyota Stadium, to slam the medical facilities given to the away team.
Orchard said the facilities at NSW Cup club Newtown's ground, Henson Park, were better than those of Toyota Stadium, while Noyce said his club's medical staff were forced to carry syringes out in the open and work on three seriously injured players under duress.
''First off we had an under-20s player [Nick Eshman] who got injured and needed 22 stitches in his finger and there was nowhere to stitch, which is a pretty serious thing with 22 stitches,'' Noyce said.
''Tom Symonds dislocated his finger and needed stitching and then Kane dislocated his shoulder. We had to grab one of our own tables because the tables in there are physio tables, not proper medical tables. We had to grab the physio table and that collapsed, then we grabbed our own.''
Noyce said he raised the issue to Cronulla chairman Damian Irvine after the match.
''There are certainly really strict guidelines from the NRL. I think it used to be here,'' said Noyce, signalling to the corner of the dressing shed, just right of the entrance where a renovation had taken up what used to be the medical facilities. ''They were walking around with needles because there was nowhere.
''It's unacceptable. If you don't look after the people who put the show on, that's unacceptable. I spoke to Damian Irvine just to explain what had happened and he apologised and asked me to apologise to each of the three players and the doc. And I'm sure he'll get it fixed.''
Orchard had earlier fumed: ''There was no medical room in the away dressing room to treat [the injuries]. Cronulla have built that out, there was no medical facility. It was conditions far worse than we have say at Newtown at Henson Park.
''It's not up to NRL standard. Someone has got to do something about it. It's unbelievable that you can have a professional sport where they don't have medical facilities to treat players in the away changing rooms.
''We just had to put them in the middle of the room. One of the beds collapsed that we were using [with] the bloke who had his shoulder popped out, so we're not happy about it, and it needs to be addressed urgently. It's not up to the standard of a professional sport.''
The Sharks' general manager of football, Darren Mooney, said the issue had not been raised with him.
''That's the first I've heard about that,'' Mooney said. ''No other club's ever complained about our medical facilities in my time here, so I'll investigate that during the week, speak to the NRL, speak to Steve Noyce, and work it out from there.''
He maintained there were adequate medical facilities in the away dressing room, and suggested the fact the Roosters lost the match had something to do with their extraordinary complaints.
''Yes, we have got a medical room next door,'' Mooney said. ''I'll speak to Steve during the week and work out what the problem was. We weren't alerted to it before the game. Obviously the 20s played, and there was a long time for somebody to come and speak to somebody about it. It's just funny it's come at the end of the game, after they had a loss.''

Mate its about appearances quite frankly. This club is well known to be an absolute joke. We've had years of shocking press and scandals and having no cash, no sponsors ect ect ect. Little things like this just add fuel to the fire. And little things like this, could be easily avoided by someone, anyone showing a little bit of forward thinking. To me that is the real problem in the lack of professionalism shown by the sharks as a professional organisation.
Like it or not we are under the microscope for anything to make us look bad, and we sure as shyte aint doing anything to alleviate that pressure with incidents like this that get called out on national tv.
Remember the great collapsing table incident?
Remember? This was right in the middle of the period of interest in the ASADA investigation
terry campese walked off with an acl injury as well
I can remember some coaches in my school days - "unless a bone is sticking out you can play on"
