i think top 8 next year, top 4 maybe win 2011. if have signed a few promising young players and if 1 or 2 go as well as our current young guns we will have a good team. but as we have a lot of young players i think our chances of winning comp will be better in 2011 than next year as our young players will get better the more they play. what do you guys think?

This year i rekon they will overtake a few teams to finish up around 12th-13th
Next year i think will be promising, Proabably be in the top 8 all year finish around 6th
Then 2011 i think top 4 maybe a GF... not sure about a win though, but a GF "win" looks promising in the next few years.

i think ricky is trying to build a team that can win comp through talented young players in a similar way that the storm did the majority of their star players were not big names when they first went there, they were talented young players from qld cup feeder team.

Let's just try and get roughly the same team to play for an entire season. If we can achieve that the season after we're probably a good chance of top 4.

this year we should finish strong i reckon... win a few and claw our way to maybe 11th .... next year if we keep the same team on the park defintely 8,7 or 6th..... the year after that i would love to think top 4 .....
the only worry is that most of our recent signings are on 2 year contracts...if the 2nd year our young guns go great we may have trouble retaining them all....
but i definately am looking forward to a completely different type of season for us next year... LIKE A NORMAL SEASON!

LOL a normal Sharks season is to get the fans hopes up with them floating around the top 4 for the first half of the season only to lose most of their games in the next half and miss the 8.
Please can we NOT have a normal season. Let's have an extraordinary season like last years but even better!

Last year was great. I think we surprised most people by finishing equal 1st (3rd on for and against) on the ladder. Hopefully we do surprise everyone next year and have an excellent year.
Agreed. I'm sick to death of having these so-called normal seasons. It's time for these baby Sharks to LIFT and bring home the coveted silverware. Bowing out last year hurt enough.:weep:

This is so hard to know, Honestly I think with the players they have currently kept and retained and remain on contract for next year I think anything is possible, even a Bulldog style resurgance is not without question, It will be interesting to see what happens, If I was a betting man I would think fringe top 8 prob 9 - 7 but who knows,
