When the Sharks Win The Premiership....

Let's indulge a bit here and talk about WHEN the Sharks win the premiership. It will happen so don't shake yours heads! When we do win I'm quite curious to know what you would do. How would you celebrate? Would you go to the extremes of marking on your body?? How do you think the shire would cope with such a celebration? Do you think we'd get some sorta holiday? We should considering we celebrate the Queen's bday.

A mate and I have arranged with our better halves that we will drink for a week, sleep wherever we fall and all the girls have to do is bring us a change of clothes every couple of days. They reckon they won't want to be anywhere near us anyway so it works out best for all!

*petition council to erect statues at every entrance to the shire (giant shark maybe)

I reckon we could be winning a GF with 5 minutes to go, up 18 points and a Tsunami would hit and the NRL would say that due to the rulebook we can't be deemed as winners of the game and we have to replay the match a week later. And the Tsunami meanwhile has killed all our players but spared our opposition and they win the match. Then 40 years later people are still saying we've never won a premiership and it won't matter if you explain how we were rorted out of one, it just won't count.

I will celebrate like I've never celebrated before and will gladly remind all of those people who mocked and laughed at me for supporting the Sharks all these years.

I will also enjoy seeing my dear old Dad's face smiling in content after waiting so long for the first elusive premiership, assuming of course, that he lives to witness this glorious day, unlike my poor old Nan.
