With Stickys new culture, techniques and tactics to the club, What now for Sticky?

He tried Anderson the hopeless center that everybody loves to hate in the backrow and was apparently one of our best, was this a good move? If Bird was to go to 5/8 would we mind ando in the backrow over reece williams?

Seymour to hooker? is this a wise move considering both de-gois and kingstons partnership over the past season?

Green at 5/8? heard he had nothing to work with cant really blame him but is this the right move considering green at 5/8? or would you prefer the birdmanwith his unique 5/8 style?

He started Mitch Brown on the bench? could this be what the sharks need?

Im all with the new tactics put forward by Sticky for 2008 BRING IT ON!

What do yous think?:cheers

He tried Anderson the hopeless center that everybody loves to hate in the backrow and was apparently one of our best, was this a good move? If Bird was to go to 5/8 would we mind ando in the backrow over reece williams? he was always going to be moved into the second row sooner or later i thought, he has a real good frame for it, certainly has some work to do to skip in front of williams

Seymour to hooker? is this a wise move considering both de-gois and kingstons partnership over the past season? if hes better than kinga then why not? its not like they had some special partnership, they were rarely even on at the same time, most of last season de gois was leaps and bounds above kinga

Green at 5/8? heard he had nothing to work with cant really blame him but is this the right move considering green at 5/8? or would you prefer the birdmanwith his unique 5/8 style? considering green at 5/8 then green at 5/8 seems like the right move yes. he will still have to battle it out with seymour but. ive always prefered bird at lock, same game but doesnt need to kick

He started Mitch Brown on the bench? could this be what the sharks need? seeing as brown will miss first third of the season doesnt mean much right now, i think brown is still above goodwin and misi but if seymour is on the bench we wouldnt have brown too

Personally in the next trial i would like to see a few different combinations.

Give some of our new recruits and young guns a run with some of the premier players at the club. I would love to see Green and Filiga playing behind full strength forward pack where they have room to move and set some plays up.

I think after the weekends trial Green will have to do something special to start at 5/8, I would think Bird will start there, but again depending on how Green goes in the next trial.

Williams to Second Row and Anderson to the bench, that we he can cover both second row and 2,5,3,4 if we get injuries.

Seymour for mine to hooker off the bench, he gives you something in attack, kinga sadly does not.

6. Blake Green
7. Brett Kimmorley
8. Ben Ross
9. Isaac De Gois
10. Luke Douglas
11. Paul Stephenson
12. Reece Williams
13. Paul Gallen

14. Fraser Anderson
15. Brett Seymour
16. Jacob Selmes
17. Adam Peek
18. Eddie Su'a
19. Nathan Stapleton

I think Stapelton will start at fullback and Simmons in the centres. IMO

Well the 2 centres above need game and timing time, Stapelton just needs the experience.

He started Mitch Brown on the bench? could this be what the sharks need?

brown wasnt even on the bench..he broke his foot at training on tuesday

the only problems we have is our backline and our halves

leave the front row as it is

8.ross
9.de gois
10.douglas
11.williams (seen as thompson may not start)
12.gallen
13.Bird

id like to see this as our side at least once

1.Stapleton/Kearney
2.Robinson/Brown (when he has recovered)
3.Simmons/Filiga (filiga needs some NYC time to get some match fitness)
4.Pomeroy
5.Covell/Tu'u Moari (till covell is back)
6.Green
7.Seymour
8.ross
9.de gois
10.douglas
11.Thompson/Williams
12.gallen
13.Bird

14.Kearney/stapleton
15.Thompson/Williams
16.Moa
17.Peek

#16 n #17 positions up for grabs.........

i liek the way ricky thinks but does this set a prezent throughout the season that we will be easy beats because we got flogged during the trials and by our so called bogey team teh rabbits.......I mean i know we went in understrenght and all that but we did get kinda hammered and didnt even post a point which was dissapointing in my books......... I mean if we go out and play our best possible team without brown or birdy maybe and flog newcastle will that change anyones thinking about us or will we be thought as easy beats this year? Which in my books i dont mind because of we arent favourites every game then when we beat the good teams we get noticed which is wat we deserve as the great football club we are....

Peachey I doubt your hopeful side will ever happen. Given some poor performances in the weekends game. Admittedly players should not be totally judged on one game, you can also tell a lot about who is actually up for it, or capable of it.
