I know a few of you are a bit more reserved in your approach to 2017, having finally achieved what we've been all waiting for this whole time, we now have the luxury as Sharks fans of not tearing our hair out each and every week and a chance to just enjoy our football.

When the season rolls around I'm always interested in football a little bit more, watching all the new players for each team run out and watching which teams improve with new signings.

A few of the questions I have this year and am looking forward to finding out this year is, will Barba return? Who will play hooker for us? Are the Titans going to improve on last year? How will Ponga go?

Besides winning that easy premiership thing we did last year again, what are you looking forward to most in 2017?

I'm looking forward to the media being in love with us, calling us the pride of the league and speaking of Fifita in reverent tones of respect.

Not worrying about finishing top 2 (myth) 3rd is were it is at..
Just sitting back and intently watching the sharks not sure I'll be balls in fanatically watching all other NRL games (sure that will change once 1st ball is kicked). Every time I hear us referred to as defending premiers I'll let out a big smile and recall sitting there live at ANZ taking it all in.

I want the guys to stay hungry and ruthless. While I'll be slightly less stressed and a lot less negative watching our games. I don't want 2016 to be an excuse for our blokes to slack off for 2017. I'm expecting our blokes to finish top 4 maybe top 6 again this year. Let's not be one hit wonders and try and build some kind of Sharks era of success.

I'm not expecting top 4 this year. At this point in time I'm not really bothered but I know once the season starts my hunger for success will return.

I'm normally counting down the days to the season start once the new year rolls around, not this year.

I'm still going to want us to win and be successful. I'm too competitive to accept mediocrity... but I am looking forward to watching the season knowing our premiership window is closing soon and we won the comp during it.

IMO if we didn't win it in 2016 or this year we would have had to wait a while.

I'm looking forward to the Knights being rubbish again.

I'm most looking forward to seeing how well Holmes can do in the fullback position before the great man returns.

This is something I'm looking forward to as well. Long term success. We have hit the pinicle or success this year on the field and seem to be taking strides off the field. I would like to see us continue this and be up there with the Brisbane and Melbournes

I'm also looking forward to the 250 plus players Gould raves about during commentary and his various media gigs and referring to them as "made for origin".
