No one is saying he hasn't been a good player.
Warner, the true definition of a flat track bully if ever there was one.

The time to sack him was before the Indian tour given we had the Poms straight after. Both countries he is utterly **** in.

Ah well, so happy he gets to go out on his terms....
I agree he is a FTB however his record in Australia is quite sensational. Averages 60!

He should’ve just been getting picked in Australia.

Head to open with Khawaja overseas

I’m pretty sure the P word is the UKs equivalent of the N word.

It’s definitely not used over there anymore.

“Johnson might be regretting criticising Warner now”

Doubt it - he was right to and it may have inspired a good result for Aus. What’s to regret?

Fantastic first over by Starc, bouncing back well and truly after his struggles in the first inning, he went out the nets during the inning break and addressed the issues, looked ten times better in that over and got himself a wicket.

The problem with Warner this summer is it’s not in the best interest of the team. Warner is going to do well this summer east teams at home is his jam.

The problem is it’s a perfect summer to develop his replacement bringing someone in & building their confidence.

Will be interesting to see how Warner goes down in history, statistically one of the best openers we’ve had but always struggled away from home.

Even this test, which is objectively a good run result from him, is classic issue with Warner. Backs up 164 with a ****ing duck. Just get like 30 or something cmon

Topped our run count and still disappointed in him haha

Warner 164
Khawaja 131
Lasagne 18
Smith 76
Head 54
Marsh 153 with a d*
