From memory Gould's 2009 NSW desired halves pairing was Anasta and Barrett.

Both are 5/8s that would probably make better locks if they toughened up a little bit.

I think Graham is a more genuine lock personally but it wouldn't surprise me to see bee sting disagree.

Agree. You just have to look at some of his hit ups yesterday.

Agreed but he has also said during the times Bird was the Origin 5/8 that Bird "isn't a 5/8 and has never been a 5/8", despite the fact that he had already gotten the man of the match as Blues 5/8 previously and began his career there!

He also goes on about how you can't manufacture a halfback, which is not the same position but shows his thought process in regard to the halves.

So never know what Gould will think, but am pretty sure the Panthers will be keen to bring in Graham somewhere if they can.

How Wade didn't get a run in front of guys like Liam Fulton and Corey Payne yesterday is beyond me. Those 2 blokes are over the hill and never going to play origin in their lives. Wade is 22 and has his best footy in front of him. Wouldn't be better to have a few rep games under his belt before origin, if in fact that is what city v country is?

Yeah, I think we learned our lesson from the whole Kade Snowden thing, we wont be happy and satisfied until he signs the damn contract.

He's playing some great football at the moment.

Had a great game yesterday with 15 hit ups, running 106 metres, 35 tackles with 3 missed tackles.

Is becoming a solid player for the Sharks,

a future rep player ?.....I think so
