Not sure what the hell is going on if it’s his body or maybe off field behind the scenes stuff, but it’s concerning.

Someone on facebook saying it is a rib cartilage issue
Considered one of the more painful injuries and relatively common for players to miss 1-3 weeks

Gallen missed two weeks last season with one

If that's the case he should stop playing and start recovering. He's not doing us any favours at the moment.

I think we have enough depth (just) that if we wanted to rest him they could. maybe it's something they thought would heal wiht time and woudn't affect his game.. but it clearly is

100% we could cover him between Talakai, Sorensen & Wilton
Might cost us one interchange but last 4 weeks only game we used all 8 was Manly anyway.

Was kicking stones in frustration around the in goal after we conceded like the 7th try against us or something
Not a good look from a leader and captain - you gotta bottle that up and stay calm cause that **** is contagious

The players are looking to you for insights and direction and an ass kicking if needed - Wade instead gave the picture of a Captain out of ideas and patience and who had given up
At least he almost got a captains challenge right...

Don't know how Gallen kept it together all those rough years , musta been calamine lotion in that tea towel he was sniffen

I would like to see him move to lock.

I also wouldn't mind seeing this 6 Graham 7 Johnson 13 Billy M

Maybe have Tracey or the other half on the bench. They can come on and push Graham back into the forwards. That's a bit left field, but I think we can experiment this weekend against the Warriors, See if it works.

Just trying to create an scenario without Townsend.

I appreciate the commitment that you'd play Graham (injured, struggling and now out of position), Tracey (has been bad) and Magoulias (unable to make a team running 9 forwards) just to not have Townsend in the team
