Just remember that a modern day 5/8 is generally a left side 7, and the half can play right. But it all comes down to working it all into your teams play, you can play whatever structure in attack you want, provide it gives u options.

I think all teams need at least three playmakers. Any less and the attack stalls.

Wade will be a top shelf #13, and sooner rather than later.

Interesting discussion from Gal tonight on OneHD Footy Show.

He mentioned the kicking game as being poor, but said Wade has been playing and training his hardest and Wade has been really disappointed that things he has tried in games have not worked out.

Sounded like Gal really had a lot of respect for Wade and is backing him! Thats good enough for me, I reckon we might see big improvements shortly in Wade! Stick with him in the halves.

Probably been covered previously but has Graham ever played centre? (not my first preference, just curious)

In your head, rent free
if everyone is disappointed in wades performances, you set the bar to high in the term of expectations for him.

remember, he is a young half, who struggled to make grade at penrith.

potential yes, talent, he oozes it, but he just seems to lack the self belief to just let it all fly out.

i have watched him carve the juniors at penrith up. with ease. teams that were loaded on talent could not touch him. once he finds his killer instinct, we will have one hell of a player on our hands.

i believe his future is at lock, and i think he could become a real asset in terms of ball playing.

next years our attacking spark will have the likes of gards, albert, chat, de gois and wade, with jeff robson lurking in the scenes as well.

things are on the up, and when they get to the top, wade graham will be a huge reason behind it.

Believe Wade!

All those things I said about you, I take them back..You really do know what your talking about.....but on a serious note I have seen what he did at junior levels in club, SOO and Australian colors and I do believe.Time will tell, but I backing that his class will eventually rise to the top and be a major influence for the sharks

I want to see him extended this year!

If we are serious about him long term, why not extend now, I dont want to risk him going elsewhere!

Its been mentioned a few times in this thread, but maybe it is a real option for Wade to Centres, only since everyone is big on the Townsend/Kelly partnership growing, and with Aus best Lock and NZ best lock in our team already.

This may really work down the track, perfect example is Maurice Blair from Melbourne who has made the switch to centres after playing in the halfs at Penrith, he is carving up.

IMO wade Graham will be just like Luke Lewis in a couple years. Definetly worth keeping

big call, hope you are right but I cant see him being great, eventually a good 1st grader.

he looks like he lost a few kegs to, he was always podgy around the guts.

i think we need to look at it this way, and i never thought i would say this but not where is he best at but where can we fit him in. I think most of us agree the kid has talent and is a long term project But Where ? we have 3 extremely good young talents for to halve positions and chad and AK dont really have an option of playing outside the 6 and 7 jerseys so if we want him to be a long term option i think we need to change our style of play and play him like a luke lewis as a ball playing lock. all the great teams have had one, give him a license to roam and do his thing without the pressure of worrying about our structure thats chads thing. by doing this we can get more impact off the bench by some impact back rowers. either way its all good for cronulla because we have depth for the first time in a while and if wondering how your going to fit all your talent into a 17 man squad is your biggest prob then bring it on. Go Wade GO Flanno and Go you mighty sharks. {thats my dribble at least}

AK played as a centre in junior footy as well although I prefer him in the halves

Yeh everyone has all valid points, we will never see him in the centres I was more posting out of desperation and just throwing up an option, what I actually would like to see along with most members is

7. Chad
6. Albert.
11. Jeremy
12. Paul
13.Wade
===
14. Anthony
15. Jayson

And that is this year!!!
