sad to see him go, the last of the 2016

glad he isnt going to france, we need to keep him on at the club in some capacity
His tone suggested he was looking to stick around. If we wants to he's in, surely.

the word up didnt translate over
It kind of did. Google just translated the phrase instead of the word, and gave you the G-rated version.

foutre la merde = mess things up

... so Google translate knows that "f*** s*** up" means the same thing linguistically.

Lol everyone up in here pretending like they haven't been bagging this bloke out for the last 5 years now that they getting all sentimental about the past.

Was similar with Fifita.

Why both players may not have represented the best value contract wise in the later years of their careers they were and still are inspirational figures and leaders at the club and on their day still fairly handy on the park playing footy.

We couldn't quite give Lewis, Gal or Fifita the fairy tale send off in their final seasons. Would be nice to pull some big performances out of our asses and go on a run into and through the finals.

Wade will always be a Sharks legend for his peak years and long service to the club. Seems a quality bloke too.

I hope him and heck even Mozza can rub one last grain or 2 or salt into Penrith

whilst there are similarities between Graham and Fifita…….large contracts and underperforming.

I also think about just how broken Fifita ended up by the end of his career……….he did put it on the line for Cronulla.

Wade has had multiple concussions and injuries, he could have easily hung them up years ago and no one would have blamed him. But he has stuck around I feel cause he genuily wants to help this club find more future success, not just about a paycheck (that he could have earned at another club or ESL)

He isn't here to stand in the way of younger players , I think he knows the reality of where he is at as a player right now

It's been fnen good to see him put on some hits and make some line breaks lately though

Wade is my all time favorite player, it's been hard watching him the last few years mostly because I'm so attached to the player he used to be.

Has been fantastic watching him last few weeks and look forward to cheering his last games.

I’m insulted.

I never bagged ……………

Fifita!
Not once!

I may have said I love Wade but time to consider retiring once or twice over the last 6-12 months but never bagged him either (at least I don’t recall your honour)

Last home game against Manly Wade wasn’t even in the team, and nearly every fan was happy about it.

Tonight when they call out the team at the ground, he’ll probably get the loudest cheer.
