I reckon if he were to play the role Fifita played last year then he’s sorta ok. Don’t really want to see him starting, and I’m not even sure he’s right for the bench. Last night when he came on we needed someone running straight and hard, instead we had him ball playing to blokes who were already gassed.

Wade put a shot like that on a Broncos player up at Suncorp about 12 years ago and even back then they penalised him for it after the video ref watched it on replay - can't remember what punishment if any he copped for it but part of his shoulder had contracted the ball carriers head

I was surprised play went on (advantage? cause Rabbits scored a few rucks later) - not because it wasn't a good shot but cause usually when a bloke gets ironed out there is a bit of an assumption it was an illegal tackle and the player needs to get checked on and let's be honest, most of the time they do find some sort of contact with the head

Wasn't obvious to on field ref though as play wasn't stopped. I actually wanted Wade to come on the field, we needed some seniority and experience

Can't say he didn't try to fire us up or shift the momentum in his short stint
