Vs his price tag it was still god awful but was a good improvement on what he had been giving and at least was a solid positive contributor on field again (not just at training)

I always feared Fifi would go out on the trajectory he was on so very pleased he was able to turn things around, even if it took literally dying.

Very worried Graham won't be able to shift off that trajectory. And it will be a bit sad. Like Fifita though I don't want to play him just because of history either though, needs to deserve it or it will be even worse.
Despite the price tag Fifita made a massive difference to our team last year ..Wade hasn’t and if anything he made us worse

I’d be more confident in Gallen on the bench then Graham

Debatable as we don’t know how we would’ve went with another name at 6

we were the first 2nd placed team to knocked out in straight sets in a long time, ugly.
Not our worst performance thou.
i remember one occasion where the minor premiers were knocked out in straight sets.

After a 10 game winning streak and first week of finals rest!!!!

Still haunts me to this day.

no appeal to him, the first appeal was toronto with his wife being canadian, the france rumours came because of maloney

now, wade is studying at uni here so i see this being his last year playing and then moving straight into coaching

I agree but tbh playing what I would now consider out of position… did better than I feared.

If he gets the opportunities he deserves based on where he is at not reputation should still be a useful squad member… if he gets shoe horned into starting I wont be too happy (although Wilton was a bit quiet)

I thought Teig was strong. Defended well, had a hand in the first try, even threw some nice left-to-right passes to help get the ball back to the middle. The game just wasn't really one that involved the back rowers a whole lot. Jesse was almost invisible in attack (also out of position), and I don't even think O'Kane had a run in his stint. I think Fitz will be happy to just get some minutes in to those guys rather than stressing over their performances.

Yeah agree, neither Wilton or Jesse had much chance to run

Teig was strong, just quieter than I would have preferred given he is fighting to get a starting spot

I mean he was on for like 10 minutes and forced 2 turnovers and got sin binned for no contact on the head.
