Really tempted to give Wade a rest next week. Two bad head knocks in a row, I’m starting to get a bit worried for him. We’ll have Nikora back and Wilton is playing well, we can afford to give Wade a week off.

I don’t think we’ll have a choice, there will be pressure to sit him out for more than a week, he’ll be out for up to a month IMO.

shame, was yet one of many contributing factors that lead to our downfall at the back end of the game. not having wade was a loss

Wade is still 2 in 2 weeks (14 days technically). 2 weeks, 3 matches.

Dugan has had 2 HIA’s in 7 days. He played 80 in the first 3 matches. Did he have a HIA at half time against Parra? He played 80.

With concussion, it is the time between the concussions that matters. 2 concussions in in 14 days is bad.

Sorry, you are correct. For some reason I thought he came off in Eels game (Wade, Nikora and Kennedy)

gotta feel for this guy atm;

he's got to keep the playing group in check and focussed. and hopefully got their heads away from distractions.
he's experienced significant issues in the past as a player and been through coach turnover, but as a leader he's got a big job ahead of him.

wishing him all the best, although not playing this week I reckon he will be crucial for the group this friday night.

This might be completely unfair, but I can't help but think Wade has to shoulder as much of the responsibility for the teams results as Bomber. I'm surprised he hasn't come under greater scrutiny

Yep, he’s been nothing but average for a long time for us.

Dunno what’s up with him but it’s not just us Sharks fans that have noticed, he lost all his rep jerseys last season.

He looked liked he was busted last season & missed tackles which led to tries, on top of that he was making bad defensive decisions.

Wade has to do all of the things a back rower normally does AND play like a second 5/8.

Agree to an extent Burg, we tend to be over critical of our own & @ times over rate them as well but as my previous post, he’s gone from an automatic lock for NSW to a bunch of backrowers who can’t get a look in.

Us Qld fans are very happy about that. We all thought the same before the 2019 series and then he turned the match in game 2.
