If we are going to put him straight back in we have to make sure he is fully fit & ready to go, not 99% fit & re-do a small injury.

Apparently he wants to come back before the bye but the medical team are making him wait till after.

yea he's been on the sidelines so long what would be the point in cutting corners now for the sake of bringing him back a week early. If the medical team are doing their jobs they won't be deferring to the ole 'players know their own bodies' adage and it will be their decision to make not the player.

Will be interesting to see if that changes if we drop a few more games.

if the medicos are legitimate how we are performing shouldn't factor into it, they need to facilitate the best process and chance of recovery. leave the winning comp points to the coach and fit players.

Wade is either 100% fit and right to play or he is not although it wouldn't be the first time one of our players is given an extra precautionary or play it safe week of rest. then that player gets injured anyway lol

Unless the medicos were 100% confident I wouldn't want to see him pre-bye. Hopefully the bye is an extra week more than he needs.
If we lose all 4 between now and then and they still aren't 100% for round 13 then we can pretty much pack in the season and rest him as long as we need. No point ****ing our captain long term if the season is down the toilet already.

The good news is we can easily account for him not being up for 80 minutes when he is first back, between Capes, Boogs and Sorensen.
We should be able to manage him through two comfortable stints, or one longer crack, without pushing him to exhaustion first game back and if he is struggling fitness-wise earlier than expected it shouldn't negatively impact us either.

Really hit the ground running didn't he. I expected it to take him a few rounds to blow the cobwebs out.

Commentary were saying the same thing at half time. Then he just went berko. Get Jmoz back outside him and we'll be looking good.

Great video and great initiative for the fans - not only Sharks fans but Rugby League fans. Always good to get a peak behind the curtains.

Sounds like it was a perfect rehab and recovery from him.
