Yeah agree on Ennis, no contest there.

Graham seems to be pivotal in attack atm, a fair bit seems to revolve around him. I'd rate him ahead of Gal for that reason.

I agree, Ennis daylight ahead of the rest. He's the one dictating our line speed. Sensational buy !!!

Graham is having his best year for us, finally reaching his potential. He even did some decent kicks on the weekend for once.

Great vid on the Sharks website in the sheds after the game with Wade being interviewed by Junior. Some good bants, you get the impression the 'culture' and the vibe amongst the players is finally where it should be. Trigger warning for DJ: He's wearing a suit jacket and not much else....

I'd throw fifita in there as well

I'd also have Lewis well up there, especially for this year.

Been outstanding and is finally playing the footy we all hoped he would (Not a shot a Luke, he's had a cruel run of injuries since coming here).

I know this is the Wade Graham thread but i'd like to add my 2c to the who is the most important player/s in our team this year.

I'd say Ennis is the number 1, his current form has in the top 3-4 hookers. To think we did a ''swap'' with the Dogs and got rid of Lichaa, we did we really really well out of this. Lichaa for mine still has MASSIVE question marks over his hooker playing abilities. His problem problem being his passing skills, the guy is so damn slow getting the ball to the first receiver.

The next most important player in our team is:

Graham / Gallen / Lewis / Holmes / Bird / Feki / Leutele / Beale and so on. And this is exactly why we are doing so well this year. We have a lot of players playing so well that's it's really hard to say 1 is playing better than the next because it's not true. We have alot of playing playing extremely well and playing extremely well as a team most importantly.

WG is going much better since he started running straight. The strong unders line is much more effective than previous crabbing.

Has to be Ennis. I suspect he not only plays hooker, but is unofficial captain and coach. Through sheer force of will he's completely changed the way the team plays.

I firmly believe that he has, on his Pat Malone, decided that Robbo isn't kicking for touch, Gal is getting the ball only when it's a good idea, we won't take the 2 every time, that he'll dribble it in goal on the last every now and again, and that the backs will get early ball. It's completely changed the way we play, hugely for the better.

Ennis is the attacking coach and captain we never had.
