  1. pick a song in your itunes library
  2. right click on it
  3. select 'get info'
  4. go to options
  5. select start time and stop time
  6. [start time - part of the song you want to start]
  7. [stop time - part of the song you want to finish]
  8. ringtones can not be more then 40 seconds long
  9. click ok once you have selected the 40 seconds of song you want
  10. [if you have the latest version of itunes]
  11. go to top drop down bar [if you dont have the latest version of itunes, the next part should be available when you right click the song]
  12. select advance
  13. select 'create AAC version'
  14. it will create the part of the song you have selected into a new file
  15. move that file into a folder on your desktop for your ringtones
  16. once you moved it into a folder, change it from '.m4a' to '.m4r'
  17. [you can delete the AAC version from your itunes library and make sure to unclick the start/stop times so the song reverts back to its full length]
  18. once you have done that, go to your iphone on itunes and select ringtones and select the ringtones folder, select all the ones you have made and sync them to the iphone

Peach,

We get this query a lot.

Is there any chance you can make the iPhone compatible ringtone and send it to me via e-mail so that I can host it somewhere and people can readily download it without going through all of that drama... I'd love to put it on the Sharks Facebook page as well as on the official site.

I reckon the last chorus that ends in "Up the Sharks!" would be best.

Cheers

Ok... here it is

Here is the Ringtone for iPhones

  1. Download the attachment
  2. Connect your iPhone
  3. Start iTunes
  4. Drag the file into the ringtones directory of your iPhone
  5. Change the ringtone on your phone by going: Setting / Sounds / Ringtones /
  6. Highlight the file and voila!
Use it with PRIDE!

I have one that has better quality sound that I made myself on Audiko.net. Doesn't finish with Up the Sharks though. Plays to a loop back to the start. How do I get it on here?
