This is now the Tyrone Viiga appreciation thread. I haven't been this impressed by a young prop since Douglas. Not only a massive, destructive human on the field but he has skill as well. Has 7 tries in NYC (Yes I know it's NYC but he is a prop) and a million tackle busts. He threw a number of offloads in the rain yesterday that the support just weren't ready for that suggests he is not just a battering ram. I have to admit I have only seen him a couple of times but I'd like to know more. Surely we have him under lock and key. Would love some imput on this one guys. Fingers crossed he keeps on developing for us.

I think he will transition into an NRL bench hooker quite easily. 25 minutes or so at first then see what happens.

The titans just lookes scared when he was winding up. They grew another leg when he went off. He almost fended the head off one of their halves when he came back on in the second half. His brother was good for us but it appears Tyrone is twice the prospect which is scary.

I've seen this guy play quite a bit this year as I attend every home game. There is no doubt he has the ability to bend the line and offload and be a real handful in attack. But he needs some nurturing. His ability to play long minutes is the only question I have and I think he can be a bit lazy in defence.

Still, heaps of potential and promise.

I remember at the start of the year fitz called it and said look out for a big year.

Alot of upside to his game but like other have said we just need to get a little bit of lazyness out of his game, like most 20's players have.

Did anyone just see the first defensive set by the Sharks in NYC? Viiga killed the first bloke then kept coming. As I post this he just hurt himself. The guy is a prospect.

That was one of the softest sin binnings ive ever seen. Really dont hope that players will go to the bin for that in the future, while things like head highs just get a penalty and maybe put on report.

absolutely crap r******. Neither player should of gone anywhere near the bin and the try they scored to tie the game should of been held up, instead he snuck back and quickly played the ball. A little hard done by!
