Sione Faumuina and Craig Stapleton are both not going to be with their clubs next year and Stapleton in particular is looking for a sydney club. (Both according to RLW).

What do you guys think?

Faumuina definitely not as he has had discipline issues (was why he left again) and he isn't great anyway. But Stapleton... We could use another prop, he is massive, was great for us previously and his brother plays for us. I think he would be a great signing.

if he is cheap, as he would be a bench player at best.

With All on deck Dougie and Snowden play in the front, with Gal, Toups and williams in the back

Oh really? Someone told me he was but assume they must have been guessing due to the surname...

I was wondering why one is massive and the other is a runt lol.

I still think we could really use him though (off the bench as someone said) as we are likely letting Donnelly and Norrie go and Ross is already gone so we need another forward so we have 4 good ones with Mannah getting either another bench spot or at least as depth.

Stapleton was underrated with us, reckon he added something, we should go for it!

He was outstanding for us that year...but that was two years ago and he was no spring chicken then. We do seem to be short a quality prop.

I'd take C. Stapleton back at the right price. He's an instant upgrade over Selmes, Donnelly etc. and would fit in to Ricky's Youth+Experience plan.
