Well I am going to bed with a bit of a snicker and a skip its only a trial but it seems things are working unlike other years.

Carney - Read the newspapers. This guys in another league.
Gibbs - Amazing game i thought. We have lost absolutely nothing losing snowden or douglas with this guy. Worked hard rushed out of the line a few times and reads the game alot better than i ever give him credit for.
Ross - worked hard, good buy
De Gois - was back to his 08 form until he got knocked out
Green - Toiled and will play a role through the year.
Taufua - see Green but more impact
Robson - Looks a good back up for any possible injuries throughout the year.
Feki - Solid. Strong runner but lacks a bit of speed.
Townsend was great in the first half, setup a couple of tries. Carney directed the whole show in the second half. Our forwards got the upper hand over theres very easily i thought and Manly never were really in any attacking areas apart from a couple of times on the back of penalties. Frizz should get tupous jersey. He ran great lines all night and bombed a certain try off one great line. He will score a few off carney running those lines through the year. I could write all night but thats what i thought of the game. I walked away alot happier than i did 2 years ago from the trial and i think if we can have some luck with injuries we will do well this year

Didn't play at all....
I would suggest maybe an injury... seeing as the other player who is technically 'in strife' or question with the club in Gordon... played... so make of that what you will.

Yeah it was in the 3rd 1/4. he looked great though until that happened. I can not recall us making an error either. even pom took an intercept and held it.
Carney and mills both scored 90m tries. Carney's was a scoop up off a loose ball and out ran oldfield to the line and mills was an intercept, brrett stewart was chasing but give up! Great too see our players running away from the opposition!!

Couldn't find too many negatives in that game to be honest.
Lot's of positives.
For the first time in a long time we will really have some competition for First Grade spots.
Will be very interesting to see come the first few rounds.

I know it's a trial but if that game was any indication we are in for one hell of a year.

I'd hardly agree with that statement.
He was his usual self, although i don't recall him dropping a ball.
Shot out from the line and got thin air once which should have ended up in a try against us but Mills saved his bacon by taking an intercept and running 90m to score.
Other than that he was fairly solid. Certainly didn't have a blinder or dominate.

I wouldn't go as far to say as dominated, but he didn't drop the ball once.
Pom's got some quality ball and ran well with it,
he did have a very good game, no mistakes, great control and some good hard running
