He's already 196cmWould be stoked to see him get an extension
Weren't you told to stay out of the Sharks shower rooms mateWould be stoked to see him get an extension
That's what my missus saysWould be stoked to see him get an extension
Would like to get a couple of quality 15 minute spells out him, will be a weapon if he's anything like he showed earlier.By the end of next year I think he will consistently be on the bench.
Happy with thisHau Tapuha eyes bigger role after signing new deal
Powerhouse prop Tuku Hau Tapuha will remain at the Sharks until at least the end of 2026 after inking a one-year contract extension on Friday.www.sharks.com.au
Yeah I haven't really heard him speak before, expected him to sound a bit more fearsome, but sounds like he's got his head screwed on.Speaks very well this guy, looks stoked to be sticking around
We should all be stoked he’s staying too because this guy is a beast and a huge prospect for us
Yeah 100% This is a call from his perspective rather than ours. If he has a breakout year this year, he can ask for more money. If he doesn't get a run he can look to move elsewhere. 2 years, whilst better for us wouldn't have been better for him.He probably wants to feel out his place in the squad.
He's just turned 23, gives him a bit of security over next couple years while he is still building towards his best and he can assess where his place is in this team or what his options are. We also have a lot of money for props open up he may not want to lock himself out of.

Maybe Hazo, but not Jesse IMO. I see Tuks as being an impact guy like Royce Hunt. Jesse feels like he has the potential to be a Carrigan/Hopgood style player (maybe wishful thinking).I like this. Said this before i think this guy has a higher ceiling than Hazleton, Jesse C etc.. Hoping he gets more game time this year and shows everyone what he is fully capable of.
Mate if he can be half as good as Carrigan then we've got a real winner here.Yeah 100% This is a call from his perspective rather than ours. Glad he's signed on for another season.

For sure. He just looks like the guy who's a big tough unit with a huge motor. Opposite role to Tuks. Hopefully we can see them both develop here.Mate if he can be half as good as Carrigan then we've got a real winner here.
