So our next game pits these two fellows against each other. The prodigal son versus the million dollar lad.

Can Chad match Daly's game? Looks like tonight Luke Brooks outplayed Daly tonight, so there is every chance Chad can out point him.

My opinion is that DCE is missing the support of Foran and I'm not sure he's the playmaker people think he is.

Interesting to hear everyone's comments.

It will be won in the forward (yes stating the obvious) the tigers showed what needs to be done. We just need to steamroll them in the forwards to limit DCE's involvement. The reason why Chad was so effective on sunday was for the most part our forwards dominated the dragons.

We just need our pack to stand up and take them on early then spread it wide. Manly looked very shaky on the edges last night. We must exploit that

Chad's probably on a quarter of DCE so we're certainly a long way ahead atm. You would have to back DCE to bounce back soon, hopefully not this week.

DCE is a champion player and anyone who says otherwise literally has no idea.

Look for him to have a huge game, even if we still win I expect a masterclass from him on Monday night.

Yeah he's a good player but i wouldn't call him a champion player yet. He's not yet in the same category as GI, Slater, JT etc.......imo.

I think he was a good player with Foran but not so good at the moment without him. That may change, he and Walker may get a good combination going but he's not grabbing the game by the scruff of the neck atm.
A lot of it has to do with a new coach as well. As HB said, Barrett doesn't seem to have the same siege mentality as a Toovey or Hasler or Fulton so it is going to take some time to get them to work together.

Even at Brookie one of our graveyard grounds, I think we'll do well Monday night and if we can just improve 50% there is no reason why we can't beat them. As 2010 said, match them in the forwards and DCE and their backs will have no room to move.

As I've said in a few previous threads, I did not think that Chad was anywhere near the best option we could have gone with for 2016. But after seeing glimpses against the Cowboys and the full game on Sunday, I'm getting a little more excited about his play. And with a few more games I think he and Maloney will start putting things together. Even if we were to lose one or the other to injury, Bird comes into the halves and we continue as before.

Only good? He's in the top 10

Fair call, he is much better than good but not a champion. I think that word is used far too often in sport.

Definitely not top 10 on current form but you would back him to change that.
