I know Tef's around here somewhere. Maybe he's finding it to hard to list five good things about Flanno...

I'm back. Can't spend all day in here all DOC's will be knocking on my door. Flanagan seems a likeable enough bloke but he just doesn't seem to have any killer instinct to make the tough calls. I would struggle to name five things I like about him as a coach. He has managed to snake a few players but I feel that had more to do with Gallen than being coached by Flanagan.

To me he seems like a very old fashioned, grind away coach who lacks flexibility and intelligence. Time will tell. If he can put up this year I'll have to eat my words. But we do play a very unattractive brand of football. If I didn't support the Sharks I'd struggle to watch some of the **** we dish up.

Ricky clone, they only coach one way. Ricky cost us origin last year with his boring one out football. You watch the eels this year.

I think we've been forced to play unattractive football as we haven't had the best players to do so. This year I think we have more players that can provide that flair so we may see more "play what's in front of you" football. I hope so as we will be on such a high if they can entertain and win at the same time.

Tef, I respect your comments always but I do hope Flanno can prove you (and Snowy) wrong. Not for my sake but more to lighten your mood and get that smile back on your face. I will admit that I am nervous about this season as there is so much expectation on our side this year because of our recruitment so I just hope we can keep our feet on the ground and not get too carried away.

Now, about Tony Gigot...

Good to hear Gigot stood out in the NSW Cup trial but all of the top NSW Cup players would have been with their NRL squads.

I hope his at least a very good NSW Cup option.

yeah if we don't play a more attacking style of footy this year then we are in trouble.

In a way it kinda sucks to have Finch there. If you're looking at it from a player development point of view anyway.

In your head, rent free
he is one of the unlucky players that might not always get a NSW cup game due to the storm front.

i hope he stays around next year when we are stand alone because he has alot to offer. he is basically a kurt gidley type utility, just not a cock head.

Sorta my thoughts exactly after watching that film, looked slow, bombs he put up looked ****, one of his highlights was kicking the ball into touch and a few were him just passing and catching the ball... Just all around average

But then what the **** do I know.

Pulled off a few decent tackles though will admit

Having not watched the video yet he sounds just like Jeff Robson! If he has more hair then quality signing aye boys.

But does he have a quality dummy!? :)

So a future Captain from the bench prospect?

Ok just finished watching the video.

Looks stronger than Chad and more creative than Robbo. Wonder how he would go at halfback in FG after a year in NSW Cup

Agree that it looks like a good signing.

I think a lot of people are underestimating how good Gigot could actually be.

I really hope we re-sign him for two more year so next year he can have a full, uninterrupted season in NSW Cup and then hopefully push for a spot in firsts in 2015.
