These 2 teams have been our bogey teams the last few yrs. We have lost the un-lose-able to both teams. No matter how far in front we are or how much better we have played the seem to always beat us. I thought to myself that the only time the sharks can have a crack at premiership we have to be able to beat these 2 teams because mentally they have th wood on us. Interesting to see how we fair in the next 2 weeks.....

lets hope we can reverse the trend and not fall into a 3 game losing slump going into a crucial finals series

Which means they'll come out firing, they got nothing to lose, we want em to win, therefore their guards are down less

I'm sure that after the warriors game that is exactly what ricky will take steps to try to avoid, there will be a couple of interesting training sessions for the lads this week. It is easy to say 'lets sweep the warriors game under the carpet' thats ok if its round 5, but with under a month to go until the big games the guys need to spend the last 3 rounds fine tuning and ironing out the basic errors that have made life tough for them since the bye.
And they really are basics !

* Too many unforced errors ( especially in the red zone )
* Silly penalties
* More support play in attack. how many times recently have we seen gal,degois,birdy or pom hit a gap get an arm free and have no one running on ? That is the only reason the raiders are scoring tries atm.

Positives

* Good kick chase ( best in nrl )
* Good goal line defence
* No long term injuries to key players
* A place in the top 4 as good as sown up.

Wish I could be as confident as you! We really have to lift our game against the Roosters and the Tigers, they will both come out firing after their losses on the weekend and we have not had success against them in recent memory.
We cannot assume a top four spot is assurerd. Plus, we really don't want to finish fourth or we risk playing the Broncos in the finals; even at home, not a pleasant thought.

Our finals campaign starts now - GO YOU SHARKIES:cheers
