We need to keep the Nut. I could not imagine being castrated and being nutless. Haha

I reckon 5ys @ $3-3.5M and 500k bonus if he plays 3+ SOO. At 25yrs of age, he will be peaking over the next few years so $600-$800k per season may well turn out a good buy if he continues playing as he has been. I do see him playing SOO next year as the type of player that would fit in well under Madge.

Cool - thanks ..

Obviously Williams and Iro need attention from that list ..
Yep – how do we make sure we keep Hazelton and Williams?

If it means we have to offer up Hunt and/or Kaufusi to another team (say the Bulldogs) I'm for it. Obviously we've needed the depth this season but "you can't keep them all", particularly when none of them come cheap.

Yeah won’t be surprised if Kafusi is the one on the move - Panthers /Dogs etc ..

If you mean for 2025, just take up his option.

For beyond that, currently just 4 full-time middles + Talakai signed for season 2026.

2025 might be a tight squeeze, but plenty of room to move in 2026. I don't really see an issue with guys like Tuks and JC spending more time in Cup. Tuks still has improvement in him, and JC has missed a lot of time in the last 18 months.

I doubt you'll need to spend that much even. I imagine he's on a reasonable contract now, with the option in our favour. A 4 year extension on 500k ish is probably all it would take, especially if you threw in some rep bonuses

At least He's saving 30 bucks per month on a haircut. That should help his budget and how much money he needs from the club!

I think this is last year with club option for next year. We need to sign him long term before he is poached.
Activating the club option this year is a no brainer... be nice to lock him up long term before he hits the open market (November)

I don't think there would be a player in our top 20 or so that would want to even consider leaving at the moment.

We are a great club on and off the field, have a good squad and AFB coming next year.

IMO we are still on the upward trajectory of our 'premiership window'. Window probably won't peak until another 2 years the way we are going.
