Couldn't agree more. I thought exactly the same thing when I read that rubbish today.
We have played two of the teams rated to be near the top of the ladder so far. We should have beaten the premiership favourites and we did more than enough to beat Bennetts Tinklers - except get the ball over the line

Yes, it was a game lost through some poor execution but if you want to talk about potential, you only have to look at the stats;

1. More metres gained
2. More tackle breaks
3. More line breaks
4. More off-loads
5. Less missed tackles

Yet we get written off as a team with no prospects and no hope of securing a sponsor.

I would be showing these sorts of things to the team.... Make them aware that we seem to be a target! Use it as a motivational tool. I know a lot of players are told to ignore the papers etc but I think it could be a great way to get the team fired up and force the papers to write nothing or write something positive (probably nothing though)
