My opinion is the problem is our back line.

Yes we are missing some forwards, but I actually think our defence hasn't been too bad in patches. The thing is - we always seem to be defending.

For me the problem is when we actually do get an attacking chance, we throw absolutely nothing at the other team.

I've seen other teams under the pump, but when they do finally get a chance, they put some points on even if they are 10-0 or 12-0 down.

That was like an opposed training session for Matai and Lyon today. We're they ever tested?

This whole thing of there being a mass exodus of players if flanno left wouldn't actually be so bad. Get a coach and a team that at least has a go.

I agree Evertonshark , we need a big clean out. All our Management staff , Board, front office coaching staff and talent Scout?

In any other Corporate organisation they would be sacked.

We really lacked enthusiasm this game. I really dont see Gordon as a fullback...he is safe in D and runs the ball well, but with a side like we have we need a creative full back.

my 17 would be (with Lewis, Gal and Topou Injured)

1. Holems (bring him up already)
2. Ryan (when fit otherwise stapo)
3. Luetele
4. Feki (he is a centre)
5. Gordon
6. Carney
7. Robson
8. Gibbs
9. Morris
10. Taga
11. Sop (Lewis when fit)
12. Arona )(Gallen when fit)
13. Graham

14. Degois (if he doesn't lift bring in brown)
15. A fifita (has much better impact from the bench)
16. Heigno
17. Vave/Mexico (I like what i have seen of mexico when playing for PNG)

Yep. And when you're not testing them in defence you're leaving them with a heap of energy to come back and attack you with.

Our spine. We have two ordinary hookers who lack any form of creativity. Same with our halfback. For all the "stability" he brings he doesn't create, kick well or play what is front of him. He is basically just a link man to Carney and someone to turn the ball constantly inside to the forwards. Throw in a fullback who isn't a natural ball player and a very, very ordinary backline and it is plain to see that we are not prepared to play in the modern game.

We will win some games when we stick to our 20 to 20 game plan and have some luck but we are no where near a threat for the title. We just never will be with he who shall not be named in charge. We are dusted for the next four years and have to start over again.

I like this side - not permanently, but right now.

It actually all comes down to commitment. A very small handful of the players are actually putting in.

This plus leadership,i'm not gonna blame so much on coaching- we have Gallen Graham, maybe Ryan as Leaders, the rest ...no, I think this is a real problem.I can't see a loss like today if Gall is in the team, but it shouldn't be so.

The score line today answers your question. We have a solid pack when all are on deck but to win you need speed and creativity from your back line. Our back line as a points scoring unit is CRAP!

Having said all of this, many of you blokes acted as though we win the comp after last week. Sad to say but Manly off a loss this week and the Rorters off three losses in a row. We are in deep sh%#!

Shows you jow bad the warriors were last week doesnt it.Our game plan today was basically the same

As for problems off the field - I posted this years ago and was absolutely annihilated by some forum members . ( The committee may hay have changed soem names but the problems abd culture are the same)

The most important thing to fix next year is get a real hooker. The cheap metres a decent hooker can get you is costing us field position which means always defending too close to our own line and not enough close attacking opportunities.

1. The boys club. Too much player power. No accountability. De gois is refusing to play nsw cup so wont be dropped.
2. Recruitment: Not signing quality outside backs and signing too many forwards who are on too much money
3. Board: Have done absolutely nothing apart from sucking flanagan and gallen off
4. Coaches: I see coaches in junior footy have better gameplans than these idiots. Defence doesnt move up which is just retarded. Attack is still ****. No structure no attacking ideas, just 5 hitups for a robson grubber, or just throw it todd and see wat happens
