Triple H tears quadriceps tendon
Written: January 8, 2007
www.wwe.com/shows/newyearsrevolution/exclusives/triplehinjury

Following an MRI with Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala. on Monday, Triple H was diagnosed with a ruptured quadriceps tendon.

Officially, The Game suffered a tear of one of the four tendons in his right quadriceps. The injury occurred during DX's match with Rated-RKO at New Year's Revolution. Surgery will be performed on Tuesday in Alabama, and WWE doctor Ferdinand Rios estimates that The Game will need four to six months to rehabilitate the injury.

While he was in a tremendous amount of pain prior to the MRI, Triple H was said to be in great spirits.

Stay tuned to WWE.com for further updates.

Hey peachey and sharkiesfreak, I am not sure the WWE would qualify as a "sport".....

I only just watched Hunter in 'Blade 3' the other day.............

'Sport Entertainment', 'Soapies for Men', - I don't know if it qualifies either, but those guys and girls, are definately athletes. You couldn't do what they do, without some serious dedication. I remember seeing HHH 'do' his leg the last time, even finishing the match. I also remember them showing the surgery......

Batista & Warriors come out to play
wwe.com

Fan-favorite Batista seems to take to the squared circle like a fish takes to water. If the current WWE Heavyweight Champion were ever to leave sports-entertainment (and we certainly hope he won’t anytime soon) he might make a fine addition to the Vodafone Warriors rugby squad in Auckland, New Zealand.

once again proves my theory americans know little, its rugby league not rugby, an insult to the game of league, when i was in america, i wore my sharks jersey n, i kept getting whats rugby league, one good thing, i met alot of aussies, when i wore my league shirts

Hey Peach, did you see what Manu Vatuvei had to say about meeting Batista?:

Though becoming a father was the biggest highlight for Vatuvei in the off season another was meeting a man even bigger than himself at a recent training session when WWE Champion Batista joined the Warriors, and while Manu is usually one of the biggest guys out there even he felt a little dwarfed by the 130 kg Batista. “Meeting Dave Batista was awesome. I brought all my games for him to sign. I’m a big WWE fan. He’s huge his biceps are the same size as my thighs”.

I used to watch it when I was young. I despise it now. I'd rather watch boxing if I wanna see a fight.
