I honestly feel he’s exactly what we’re missing for this team to go next level. I don’t think any amount of experience is going to help our pack be the force we need. So we need him.

That’s an absolute given. Tino is the first forward you’d pick to join our team if you got a free pick

My understanding to the situation now is if we match the Dragons offer we will get him across the line. A decision from us will be made shortly as to whether we will match and then negotiate with the Warriors.

It's tricky ,
IF he feels he is worth say 1.1 mil per year = 4.4 mil for 4 years .
BUT , cannot except more than 1 mil next 2 years ( is that correct ) then Dragqueens 4.5 Mil is close to the mark .
IF we could get him for next year at $4.4 Mil total , perhaps not too bad ?

Yeah me either, but I think it's worth the risk. You'd have him for ages 29-32. If you get two great years out of him I think we have gotten value even if he declines after that. If he can still be high impact low minutes after that then even better.
